I sold a sealed one for about $80 on ebay not that long ago. I know you said you don't do ebay but just an FYI.

Does anyone here know whether or not Amazon will sap your money out for the credit you should recieve from a trade-in if you have a big debt with "Bill Me Later"? I assume not... but I can't help but be worried that they'd try to "collect" using my credit. Although I guess that's not the same, so most likely I'm still good I assume.

Getting ready to send in a ton of old games to try and get Resident Evil 6 CE for 360. And maybe some other stuff. Not sure if I want to trade in the box & instructions though... I would hate to do that because it's much easier to get a complete set again if you keep the box. But I'm counting on getting the full $30 and I really don't want them to be downgraded to $20...

My list includes:

Metroid Fusion - $30
Skies of Arcadia Legends - $29.85
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest - $30
Super Mario Bros. DX - $30
Mega Man Zero 2 - $30
FFV Advance: $30
Jet Force Gemini: $30
Resident Evil 2 (GameCube) - $30
Pokemon Stadium (N64) - $30

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon - $30
Zelda: Oracle of Ages - $30.00
Zelda: Oracle of Seasons - $30.00
Cubivore - $30
Metroid Prime Trilogy - $30

The latter list I most likely will NOT be trading in (no way I'll part with Prime Trilogy for only $30. And the Oracle games I really want to review before they get re-released, plus I think they're quite rare to find boxed and in mint condition like I have them).

Cubivore is also worth more than $30 if it's complete.
Old 09-20-2012, 04:34 PM   #2524
Yes it is complete, right that's another one I wouldn't sell. I also don't know if I'd sell Circle of the Moon, but I haven't looked it up on ebay yet to see what it's going for.

I saw this thread this morning and saw some of the high values and decided to go through some of my games.
I submitted a trade in for these games:

Complete with case and instructions:
Red Dead Revolver (Xbox)- $30.00
Doom 3 (Xbox)- $30.00
Roller Coaster Tycoon (Xbox)- $30.00

Disc only games, submitted as acceptable:
Donal Duck Goin Quackers (GC)- $20.35
Simpsons Hit and Run (Xbox)- $21.00
Megaman Anniversary (GC)- $11.50
Jak 3 (PS2)- $1.20

The disc only games I got free somewhere because they were disc only. The other games I think I paid about $13.00 for. If they all are accepted I will get 144.05 and will be very very happy.

I don't understand how these values can be so high. Is it a glitch or something?
Old 09-20-2012, 06:26 PM   #2527
I sent in 3 orders for around $1200. I've been trying to get rid of my N64 collection, so hopefully they accept these trade-ins.
Old 09-20-2012, 06:40 PM   #2528
Is it common to have some items marked completed and others still 'processing' if they all came in the same package?

I also noticed some insane trade value on some games today.

Getting ready to send in Simpsons hit and run and clone wars for $30 a pop each tiv!

How are you guys sending in more than one game a time? I know they provide the label but does it cover the weight etc of multiple games. (ive only sent one at a time in bubble mailer before)

Guess I should be going to Gamestop to pick up all these games? Those xbox games are all sub $10 and trade in for $30 @ amazon. This can't be right.

red dead revolver - 4.99
doom 3 - 9.99
roller coaster tycoon - 9.99

Don't worry, it's prepaid, let them handle all that.

Gamestop hasn't sold xbox games in stores in years.

Lol well that settles that. But why are they still listed on the website then?
Old 09-20-2012, 07:04 PM   #2534
So my $49.10 Wavebird got declined even though it was near flawless condition, but amazon credited me the full amount anyways and wants to send it back to me.

Best costumer support ever.

Big ol' warehouse vs. lil' store maybe? Just a thought.

I don't think it is a glitch. If you look at the selling prices for many of these, they are pretty high right now (on Amazon at least). I was about to send a few in when I checked the prices and figured I could do much better selling them myself - especially for ones I still have new/sealed. A few others I might be able to do slightly better on but I figured the ease of sending them to Amazon outweights the slightly higher cash value I might get if all goes well.

I do have a box of 3 GBA games (all mint/complete and one still sealed) on the way to Amazon. They better not mess with those and return them damaged! I just resubmitted 2 more along with some Gamecube games I dug out of the closet.
Old 09-20-2012, 08:08 PM   #2537
They usually fix glitches. These crazy prices have been off and on for a week now.

Most of those games are worth more than $30 complete.

I usually have that happen when I send in GBA games loose in the box.

You can generate multiple labels from the 'print shipping label' screen if you need to. But yes, one label is good for a tugboat of weight if you need it to be.
