I also have 10$ of best buy gift money, would it be smarter to take advantage of their deal? 40 + 40 -10 = 70 - 40 = 30 - 25 = 5$??? That can't be right...
I wouldn't count on getting 40 back for the trade-in of whatever your second game is. You can check BB trade in values here:

Fortunately the people in my target are pretty good. Person in electronics agreed with me, but couldn't force it through. Gave me the games to take to the GSTL, she agreed with me and showed the ad to the LOD who said to put it through.

If they refuse to give it to you, keep going up the chain of command, unless they put a sign out to correct it by the game, the ad is what to go by and it says "ANY 3DS game" and Zelda itself falls under that.

Picked up Wii Play Motion and Flingsmash today. Don't know why as I already have 4 Wiimotes and 4 little Plus add-ons and I traded in Wii Play long ago for about $2 as it sucked so bad. Must've gotten too much sun at the beach today, only excuse I have.

Where would you possibly get $40 for trading-in a game that is MSRP $40?

I called BestBuy.com this morning to get the PM on LA Noire. I'm a Silver member, so I'm in the 45 day return window. She gave me $22.00 credit ($20 + $2 tax) with no complaints. I was worried that since I got the $15 gc originally that I would only get $5 back.
So now: $60 out of pocket - $20 PM - $15 gc - $10 RZ credit (500 bonus points for pre-order) = $15 for LA Noire. I'm happy.

So, I guess Amazon's not gonna match this deal then?

The original Wii Play that bad?

I was thinking of picking it up for about $13 used for the game only or $50 new with an old model Wiimote without the motion plus add-on. Figured it was worth the $13 to amuse my older relatives.

Going to get Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort for them if I get the Mario Kart bundle.

There's a decent tank game on Wii Play. That's it though.

I was going to ask this. So BBY IS matching Target's Zelda deal (buy Zelda get another 3DS game 50% off) while still giving you a $25 GC? That's awesome, will try this.

Also, would they match Target's other 3DS deal? You know, buy a 3DS, get a $25 GC?

Wii Play's tank and cow racing look fun. Just watched a review and seems not really worth $13, $10 or less. Although, laser hockey/air hockey and billiards look pretty good.

Edit: Seems critics aren't liking Wii Play Motion Plus and Flingsmash. I'm not expecting much since they are basically tech demos. I'll still get them for the two Wiimote + since I don't have any extras yet.

Edit 2: Wii Party looks fun, going to see if Wii Music is worth a shot. Probably should look for a thread somewhere about Wii games for old people.

Your logic is very flawed. First of all, I'm going to assume that by trading it in you mean returning the game for your money back because nowhere are you going to get $40 TIV for a $40 MSRP game. Anyway, given the $25 gift card deal, my guess is that the return value for both games will be split to cover that. The best buy gift card is pretty much cash so it does not take away from return value but limits how much you actually get back in whatever form of payment you pay for the rest. For example: Zelda OoT and SF4 for $40 each - 40 + 40 - 25 = 55. Now you split that by 2 and you got a return value of 27.50 for each game. So really you have to pay $80 up front and you get 27.50 back for the game you don't want, making it that you essentially pay $52.50 for Zelda and a $25 gift card.

I'm pretty sure this is how it works at bestbuy since it works like this in most retail stores. This is why I was able to get around my Target's inability to comprehend the english language in their own advertisement to get Zelda for $10 off. Their system did not ring up Zelda at $40 and SF4 at $20 but rather took the combined cost of both which is $60 and split them equally so each game had a return value of $30.

So I can get Fear 3 and another game for $50 inside Toys R Us also, or is it just online?

How do you price match without a physical ad? I thought that was required? I'd be interested in getting L.A. Noire and Portal 2 from Best Buy.

Anyone?
