Oh, didn't realize Target had that game for $25, I just assumed he was talking about the BZG1 50% off ("Z" standing for "Zelda" ). I guess that makes more sense, considering MSRP for 3DS games is $40 and half of that would be $20, not $25.

Never ask a lawyer to do math. That's what you get.

So is Crysis 2 $40 at gamestop? The site shows $60 still.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered and I've already read it confirmed by one poster, but have others had success getting two copies of OOT at Best Buy without any type of override for the Gift Card?

I just tried doing it this at BestBuy, brought the Target ad and was purchasing Zelda + Dead or Alive. The manager said they could only honor one deal, either 50% off the second game or a $25 gc. Obviously I went with the gc. I then turned around, grabbed a black 3DS, and pm the Target ad to get $25 taken off.

So to summarize my BB purchases:
First purchase: $40 (Zelda) + $40 (DoA) + tax = $85 and a $25 gc
Second purchase: $250 (3DS) - $25 (gc from Zelda) - $25 (pm Target 3DS GC) + tax = 214
Total: ~$300

No. God this is getting complicated. Best Buy has Blazblue in its ad for $25. The first person obviously hadn't seen the ad when he went early sunday and the OP never posted that deal in the first ad thread.

It works fine in-store.

The difference you will likely have to pay is $10. If you return/exchange the other game you get $30 back for that game and RE will be $40 unless they have another deal next week.

Good to hear that, will do the same thing later.

Ah, got it (finally!). It was getting complicated, and I don't even care about BlazBlue.

Why would the difference be $10? Assuming we are talking about a $40 game in the first place.

At target worked out like this

Black 3DS (249.99) + tax (13.50) = $263.49

Games Zelda (39.99) + Street Fighter (19.99 after 50% promo) + tax (3.60)= 63.58 - $25 gift card for buying the 3ds= Total 38.58

So $263.49 + $38.58 = 302.07 including all taxes and promos not bad at all considering if i bought it on amazon it would be 249.99+ 39.99 + 39.99 no gift cards for a total of $329.97 and i would have to wait for it to be shipped so if you want the cd its a great deal if you dont got the system already because you can have it today for cheaper than amazon and no wait.

So now: $60 out of pocket - $20 PM - $15 gc - $10 RZ credit (500 bonus points for pre-order) = $15 for LA Noire. I'm happy.
just called, took 5 mins and got back $22 as well. thanks for the confirmation that it worked

After finding out on Facebook about the get 20 dollars off a second 3DS game when you get Zelda AFTER coming home with the game http://www.facebook.com/#!/GameStop/...82947491760688 , tomorrow I'm going to head up there and get the game. Then return the Zelda game to Gamestop to get my money back.
