just bought la noire last week at best buy for msrp. so i can just take my receipt to CS desk and they will give you a $20 gift card?

First off, thanks to the OP for getting this ad to us so soon. I've got some thinking to do with regards to L.A. Noire. I didn't buy it at launch because I was waiting for it to drop. Ideally I'd love for Amazon to match this so I can use some of my credit. I'm also considering getting the Rockstar Pass at a discount that's expiring soon. But I have a strong feeling that LA Noire will be on sale in some capacity during Black Friday.

So does every game get a $40 sale a month after release now? Seems like the new trend.

With the way prices drop it's smart to buy week 1 & get the best pre-order credit/gc deal then price match & get the $20-$30 back. $40 2-3 weeks after launch < $40 + $10-$20 credit on day 1. If you do this twice your have at least $20 in credit to make your next $60 game $40 anyways.

They'll give you $20 cash/credit back unless you paid w/RZ or GC then you get the amount back in that.

Works for me buy on day 1 get all the credit them in 2-3 weeks get the cash back can't lose.

Hmm... This is a tough one.

Best Buy has buy two 3DS games, get a $25GC. Target has buy two, get one of them 50% off.

BestBuy nets $5 cheaper, but $20 more up front. Hmm...

Unfortunately for me, the 3DS doesn't have any other titles that I don't own for either the Best Buy or Target deal to be worth it. But if any of you don't have Dead or Alive: Dimensions, I'd highly recommend using that title as your second choice for either of these deals.

For me: I'll be going to Kmart.

Scary thing is, my 3ds is already 'collecting dust, battery drain almost never to be played until compelling content comes to it' phase.

Even 3ds zelda won't be enough.

First I was gonna get this at Kmart for the $15 gamer coupon. Then I saw one of the local Gamestops was doing the Zelda event and selling it 1 day early, so I was going to get it there. Now it looks like Target is the place for me, hopefully I can pick up Zelda and DoA, my first 3DS games.

Wow.. so.. $250 for the DS, $15 for Zelda and $20 for another game. That's pretty good.

I wonder if I could PM at Best Buy and use store credit..

I'll be picking up my 3DS w/ $25 so I'll use that $25 towards zelda and get doa for half off. Can't beat that deal. I still have my $20 kmart LA Noire coupon that expires early July I was going to use on Zelda..oh well.
