I know this is a bit lazy on my part for not checking, but does anyone know off the top of their head if the Box Set contains any exclusives not included with these individual releases?

Reason I ask is that I wouldn't mind getting 1 & 2 now and maybe snagging 3 and 4 down the road later when they inevitably drop in price lower than this.

It's either that or snagging the Box Set...

There are differences between these and the box set... Box set is 6 discs, all of these editions are single discs.

What the actual content difference is, I'm not sure.

None of the extras included in the Anthology discs are included with the single disc of the movies. You get the movie and that's it.

Most of the extras were on the previous quadrilogy DVD release...There is some new stuff on this blu ray set, but most of the meat and potatoes of the extras aren't new, although the overall presentation and organization of it all is quite impressive.

Overall, there is alot of cool stuff on the blu ray anthology bonus disks but probably not something you are going to watch over and over. I have the anthology and I'm thinking of picking up the first two movies and selling the anthology off now that I've watch through most of the extras....The single disk versions of the films do have a few extras like commentary tracks and deleted scenes.

They really want to get rid of the Alien movies, wasn't the anthology the deal of the week a few weeks ago?

Might just get 1 and 2 then. I'm not too concerned with extras, plus 3 and resurrection can die in a fire.
