They did this the last 2 years with the Madden games. Customers were not impressed.

Anyone know how to trade in games at Target? Never done it before. Is it specific stores only that offer the service?

i don't think the Doritos are free, i believe you only get the gift card if you buy madden and 2 bags of Doritos so add at least another $5 on that (Doritos are usually $2.50)

Or just wait a month when the price drops in half, as it does with every single sports game every single year from EA.

As far as the game trades, the person who does the cell phone stuff is the person you talk to, (they are not target employees, they are hired by another company and they wear black shirts). As far as I know they usually come in around 12 or 1 at my store but it could be different elsewhere.

sports games rarely drop much in price unless its right before the new one comes out.

I think Target's 5 dollar discount when you buy StarCraft 2 + a game pad was already evidence enough that whoever creates their gaming deals are about as clueless as they get.
