I just tried to buy something. Check out is glitchy as heck. I could barely get to the shipping speed page of the process before I gave up. Not worth the hassle right now. If it works later on, great, if not, I don't need to spend the money anyway.

I received 5 more games on the mail yesterday, but I did not have the time to edit and post at the time, so here they go in case you are curious about goHastings games conditions and all that (:

The 5 games arrived in almost as new condition, I was very impressed!

Ans this is very good, I received Bulletstorm Limited Edition instead of Bulletstorm standard edition and best of all... with a working DLC code! Also it seemed completely new, not even a small scratch on the cd or box art at all. Thanks goHastings!


The Blu ray discs were almost as new. Only Uncharted 3 arrived with a very deep scratch ): (I hope it won't freeze the game or something similar), but since the online code was unused, the scratch was fine then (:

The scratch is more visible in person


And I have a question, I have to return GOW 3 (obviously), and they will return my money once I return the game. Now, noticing that those games arrived in very good condition, I feel now as returning my Final fantasy XIII copy because the box plastic and cover art are torn and ugly looking, but since I bought the game during the B2G1 for $1 sale, do you think there will be a problem? I feel like Hastings will be like, "Oh you bought 3 games, but you want to return them in order to keep the $1 one as free!" I bought Final Fantasy XIII for almost $10, Uncharted 1 for $7, and Uncharted 2 for $1. I really want to return FFXIII but do you think if I do then they will charge me back $7 for Uncharted 2 instead of the $1 I paid for it?

Technically you shouldn't be able to return FFXIII and keep the $1 game but I'm sure they can work it out. If FFXIII is in really bad condition, then it's their fault for not sending an item in good condition so unless they're really strict, you should be able to keep the $1 game as a way to compensate for your time and patience. I returned L.A. Noire a while ago to Amazon because there was a tiny crack in the case, but I still got to keep the free shipping for another game for spending over $25 total (would have been less without L.A. Noire). I know this isn't about Amazon but generally big companies would rather keep their customers happy and solve it quick instead of fight over it for a long time because it's cheaper to let you keep the game for $1 instead of paying an employee to fight over it for a long time. THIS ALWAYS happens with 30-40% off sales.
Their servers really can't handle the huge uptick with sales.

Actually it did this crap all day yesterday. I couldn't place an order cuz of the error message. The website works during the FB sale, but everything I wanted was OOS. Now things are in stock, but I can't get to the checkout screen. Such BS. I'm fed up with hastings. Also, they mailed me a game with a huge ugly sticker residue on it. Not happy.

I almost got an order through about 20 minutes ago.
Got to the PLACE ORDER button and NOPE. back to the SORRY page.

Check your order history, I had the same thing happen but the order DID go through.

When I use Internet Explorer, the pages load about 25% of the time, and it is impossible to get an order through. With Chrome, it's closer to 90% and I was able to place an order. Maybe I could get IE to work if I cleared cookies, but I wasn't in the mood.

It was actually not working even before then towards the end of the Saturday when the sale was almost over.

And if you're fed up, then shut up, and don't shop there anymore. I don't understand why you keep buying there if it's obvious you're just going to complain about every little thing.

Sticker residue is what broke the camels back? Give me a break. Maybe if you don't want to deal with sticker residue then stop buying used products and just keep paying MSRP for all your items. I'm glad you're not happy since that means one less poster with generic rantings to deal with in this thread.

Make sure the door hits you on the way out.
