I went back to Towns (included in the Indie Royale Alpha Collection #1) after reading this RPS article about it; the latest patch added heroes to the game, which is what piqued my interest.

The game seems to have changed quite a bit from the rough build that came with the bundle - I seem to recall that all of the text was m a s s i v e l y s p a c e d o u t w h i c h m a d e e v e r y t h i n g h a r d t o r e a d - and I really enjoyed it. I only played some of the tutorials, and even then they don't walk you through it that well, but already I've got ideas on what I want to try when I build my town and so on.

I popped on, expecting to play for 5-10 minutes, checked the clock two hours later and realised it was 1am.

This game could be onto something.

I'm in for The Ship. Haven't heard of the others, but some of them look promising. Nice!

When someone redeems their The Ship key please report if it gives you any giftable copies. Some versions of the game do this.

I redeemed mine and it gave me 2 gifts of the "2-pack".

When you click on the listing for The Ship, there's a note that reads: "This Steam-only game comes with one key for yourself and two keys to give out to your friends, each of which have additional bonus keys attached."

I didn't see the note when I clicked earlier. I'm sure they added the note on the front page because I copy/pasted it into the OP and it wasn't there.

Airmech is already in Beta? I just got into the Alpha a week ago! That was quick.

The Void, The Ship and Airmech (even though it will be F2P) are what me bought this bundle. Dead Pixels also looks like a good time waster.

Already got the Void in one of those 5 for $5 indie packs on Steam, so, passing.

It's kinda sad for me when the only games I'm interested in are the Desura ones. I think the Ship was my second purchase on steam, way back in 2008 for a weekend deal. I can recommended 1000 Amps as a good short little Metroidvania. It's not amazing, but I had fun, and I was able to 100% it in 3-4 hours.

This looks like another good bundle. I was interested in The Void, but never picked it up because honestly, I'm still not totally sure what exactly the game is about. Just played Lasercat. It's a fun little game. Only games I'm unsure of are The Ship, since it's multiplayer, and Dead Pixels, since I really hate the zombie fad.

Take my thoughts with a grain of salt, but I couldn't get into The Void.

Maybe I tried playing it too late at night or I just wasn't in the mood for it, but I just didn't 'get it'. The game mechanics weren't clear enough for me and what I was supposed to be doing in the game was perhaps made too vague from a game trying to perhaps be too artistic and/or minimalistic. The gameplay could've been extremely simple and it just wasn't clicking for me. With a backlog as large as mine, I just wasn't hooked like I was hoping I'd be.

Perhaps I'll get around to trying it again someday... but I don't really know.

I did pick up a bundle, primarily for The Ship though.

Isn't there a single player option for The Ship? I thought I remembered that there was but I haven't tried it yet personally.
