The game seems to have changed quite a bit from the rough build that came with the bundle - I seem to recall that all of the text was m a s s i v e l y s p a c e d o u t w h i c h m a d e e v e r y t h i n g h a r d t o r e a d - and I really enjoyed it. I only played some of the tutorials, and even then they don't walk you through it that well, but already I've got ideas on what I want to try when I build my town and so on. I popped on, expecting to play for 5-10 minutes, checked the clock two hours later and realised it was 1am. This game could be onto something. |

I'm in for The Ship. Haven't heard of the others, but some of them look promising. Nice!

Airmech is already in Beta? I just got into the Alpha a week ago! That was quick.

It's kinda sad for me when the only games I'm interested in are the Desura ones. I think the Ship was my second purchase on steam, way back in 2008 for a weekend deal. I can recommended 1000 Amps as a good short little Metroidvania. It's not amazing, but I had fun, and I was able to 100% it in 3-4 hours.

This looks like another good bundle. I was interested in The Void, but never picked it up because honestly, I'm still not totally sure what exactly the game is about. Just played Lasercat. It's a fun little game. Only games I'm unsure of are The Ship, since it's multiplayer, and Dead Pixels, since I really hate the zombie fad.

Take my thoughts with a grain of salt, but I couldn't get into The Void.
Maybe I tried playing it too late at night or I just wasn't in the mood for it, but I just didn't 'get it'. The game mechanics weren't clear enough for me and what I was supposed to be doing in the game was perhaps made too vague from a game trying to perhaps be too artistic and/or minimalistic. The gameplay could've been extremely simple and it just wasn't clicking for me. With a backlog as large as mine, I just wasn't hooked like I was hoping I'd be. Perhaps I'll get around to trying it again someday... but I don't really know. I did pick up a bundle, primarily for The Ship though. |
