So let me get this straight.....for the Summer Indie Royale bundle or any other bundle of the type if I pay more than the minimum ($5.43 currently) like say $5.50 would i get all of the things included in the bundle along with steam activation keys? Do they plan on adding more games to this bundle and or should i for the most part wait until the last day to be safe?

It was originally a flash game. After seeing the video, I remember playing it on Kongregate:

Actually the minimum tends to go up over time since they raise it when people just pay the minimum and only lower it with larger donations. After a point though it tends to level off so we are probably at that point now. It will fluctuate up and down a bit but probably stay around the $5.25-$5.50 or so range I would guess.

That is, unless someone messes up and pays $800 when they meant to pay $8. Then it will drop down to $4. As The End said, thank goodness for idiots.

Anyway, they have a chart on their page that shows all the price fluctuations. And yes, you do get Steam keys where available, but some games on aren't Steam so you can use the Desura key for those or just download them directly. The site will tell you which games are Steam and which are not.

Does this latest bundle come with any of the game soundtracks or is the music bundle just the Pixeljams Volume 1 album with a purchase of $8 or more? I purchased the bundle but I'm not seeing any soundtracks, but I'm hoping I am just missing something.

Thus far, there are no soundtracks included with this bundle. It's just the Pixeljams Volume 1 album.

On a different note. To those who bought the bundle, check out the download page now. They rearranged it so you don't have to scroll to the right to see the AirMech, Dino Run & Acceleration Of Suguri keys. They must have received a several complaints about the way it was organized. I know there were a few posters here who were perplexed with the layout.

This is probably my favorite Indie Royale bundle so far. Also the first time I decided to register the game via Desura. Desura isn't so bad. Not as intrusive as Steam, though some things are just hard to find and they need to somehow streamline the whole flow of the client and website.

So far I've just played Dino Run SE. Yes it is a glorified flash game. The controls are ok, not quite as tight/responsive as I'd like it to be. It's pretty much surviving and time trials.

Also played the shit out of Acceleration of Suguri X Edition. Even have a quick playthrough to give an idea of how it plays:

I've also played some Gundemonium back on the PS3, but yet to try it out on PC. Too many games!

For some reason, Desura takes forever to load on my machine when I turn it on, with the login prompt hanging there for a long time.

I traded a Desura key with a fellow CAG and finally had a reason to download the Desura client because I was interested in The Journey Down. Yeah, it can be a confusing mess. The client is just as hard to figure out as the website and that's saying something. I did get the game to download after I started the download five times and restarted the client an equal number of times; it got hung up downloading 98 Mb's worth of "dependencies."

I hope they invest some of the revenue from the Indie Royale bundles in updating the client and making it much more user-friendly.

So, is this revamped version of Dino Run still done in Flash or has it been ported to something else?

All of them are pay what you want with a minimum, usually around $4, but Humble is the only one that will literally let you pay a penny. You do need to pay them at least $1 to get Steam keys though.

Go to your collection page. If you don't have one, register. You can tie any Indie Royale purchases to it and view them all from here. It's the same as a Desura account. You can also add any previous bundle to your wishlist. If there's significant interest they may bring them back.

Does anyone still have their Junebug Bundle Desura key? I'm interested in trading my Summer Bundle Desura key for it.

You can't trade Desura keys because they're linked to your account. I didn't know at the time when I paid someone for their key.
