After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!

You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.

Question about GameStop
- Batman: Arkham City - Dark Souls - White Knight Chronicles II Problem is...none of these ever seem to be available at any of the same stores, according to the online inventory checker. Long story short...do you think I would get a hard time if I say used the online system to hold Game 1 at Store A, ventured to Store B and bought Game 2, then to Store C to buy Game 3. After that, I travel over to Store A, present my receipts and return Games 2 and 3, and ask to repurchase them along with Game 1 so I can use my coupon. I'm sure someone on CAG has tried something like this before. I used to work at GameStop up until about six months ago when I graduated and went full time at another job. But I can't imagine this will be a problem at the store I worked at (which is now unfortunately 250 miles away or else I'd just do it there...) I know ever store is different, so that's why I figured I'd check for some insight.

I've done this many times, they've never given me any shit about it. This is widely done by pretty much everyone and does not violate GS's policies in any way.

It's worth noting, though, that online inventories are never tremendously accurate and you might even find everything on the first go. It could be off by as many as a couple days.
I did something fairly similar once, I had bought two games and then the next day they started a B2G1 promo. I took them in and asked the guy about it, and he returned the games and resold them to me, but then he just gave me the difference in cash. That's probably not something he was supposed to do.

You wouldn't need to go to Store A for the return/rebuy either. Bring everything to Store C and do it when you pickup your third game.
I got real lucky when I went to use my coupon today, mine expired next month. I looked at the tracker a few days back and Ico/SotC wasn't available used anywhere except 15 miles away and I said "I'll go Wednesday if they still have it". I looked for closer stores today and found all three of my games (God of War Origins/No More Heroes HP/Ico) at the closest store. I was stoked! |
