Bethesda has announced the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

It launches in Europe on 10th February and in the US on 7th February 2012.

The Ultimate Edition has all the game add-on content for New Vegas, including Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier's Stash and Gun Runners' Arsenal.

The DLC adds new areas and increases the maximum level cap to 50.

"For players who are seasoned explorers of New Vegas or just getting into the game for the first time, the Ultimate Edition expands beyond the Wasteland like never before with the Sierra Madre Casino, Zion National Park, Big MT research crater and the treacherous Divide now open for exploring," Bethesda said.

Finally. 1000'd this game about 2 months ago and been waiting on this freaking announcement. Definitely did not enjoy New Vegas as much as Fallout 3, but I still wanna finish it in it's entirety.

All these Ultimate/GOTY editions + HD Collections are becoming a bit much these days.

Fallout New Vegas "Ultimate Edition"-February 7, 2012

Just announced on bethblog.com

http://www.bethblog.com/index.php/20...s-in-february/

Quote:
We’re pleased to announce the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition will be available in retail stores across North America on February 7th 2012 and throughout Europe on February 10th. The Ultimate Edition comes complete with all of the game add-on content for Fallout: New Vegas – Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash, and Gun Runners’ Arsenal.

For players who are seasoned explorers of New Vegas or just getting into the game for the first time, the Ultimate Edition expands beyond the Wasteland like never before with the Sierra Madre Casino, Zion National Park, Big MT research crater and the treacherous Divide now open for exploring. Along with new areas to explore, each of the four main add-on packs increases the maximum level cap by five levels, ultimately raising the cap to level 50.

New Vegas Ultimate Edition will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
No price listed yet, but likely $60. Considering how cheap this game has been available for some time($10-15) plus some of the DLC going on sale already($5), this isn't as much of a "deal", but I know this will excite many people.

If that was sincerely the case, I'd buy it day-one.

Shocking ...

What I don't understand was how the original Fallout 3 GOTY edition was actually MORE glitchy than the separate releases. I actually kept my original Fallout 3 disc after purchasing the GOTY edition, because it was so bad.

Are the glitches fixed? Cause They could throw in all the DLC the want, but if the glitches are not fixed I don't wanna hear it. It was such an awesome game, but so unplayable at times. You haven't done "Glitchy" until you did New Vegas.

In my defense I posted this in the general gaming news forum but after linking to that they merged these two threads together.

THIS ^^^

But I had a feeling it would be the case with Obsidian involved. I love Bethesda and can't wait for Skyrim. And I know open world games are going to be glitchy. But I got about 20 hours in on New Vegas and couldn't take it anymore. I just wish Obsidian would get their crap together.

Morrowind is still my fave. Oblivion was okay enough but it is shameful that some of the game breaking glitches weren't fixed for the five year version. SHAMEFUL.

Can't wait to hear if the bugs in NV are addressed. Not holding my breath though.

It could be. A quick glance at the reviews on amazon shows that the PS3 version suffered more than the 360 one, although plenty of people had issues with the 360. Or maybe 360 owners are more tolerant. I don't know, but I had the PS3 version and it was such a letdown. So much potential.
