I don't have the game yet, so I will wait for this to come out and drop in price.

I got new vegas when it came it out and it was easily the most broken console game I've played...after about 2 dozen+ crashes (including some previously unseen hard crashes that required one to UNPLUG the 360 to be able to turn the 360 off), I gave up.

I tried again a few months later and it was much improved...but still buggy....instead of crashing every 20-30 minutes it was crashing every couple of hours or so.

Recently, I started a new game for the hardcore achievement and it seems much more stable but it still occasionally crashes. I've got all the DLC active and I'm probably 40 hours into it and I've had 4 crashes. So it seems that they have gotten it down to around the fallout 3 level of crashing, which is probably the best we can expect given at this stage and the limitations of the gamebryo engine.

If it gets a bargin price I'll consider it. I might pay up to $40, considering I already own the regular collectors edition and one of the DLC packs.

But why hasn't EA/Bioware done this for Mass Effect 2 yet?

Why didnt they call it GOTY Edition? Im guessing because it wasnt GOTY

Although, I did just trade in RDR Undead, and Fallout NV, so these Ultimate packages are just asking me to rebuy and get all the DLC, and I might

Maybe, I should dump/trade into Gamestop my PS3 copy that I got from Blockbuster Video during the Buy 1 Get 1 free sale on used games awhile back. I haven't even gotten to it yet and probably won't due to my backlog. I'd like to get $7.50, but don't expect that much.

Edit: I wonder if I can use whatever trade in credit I can get with this game right away to pay off a preorder I'm going to pick up?

I didn't have any glitches with New Vegas like I did with Fallout 3. I had it when it was full price and it crashed constantly, and I found the Railway Gun glitch to be entirely unacceptable given how awesome the Railway Gun is. I didn't love New Vegas like I love Fallout 3, though. I'm not sure why.

Funny I bought Fo3 on launch in 08 and put in 40 hrs plus and never got around to finishing it. Never played fonv but that glitch at the beginning where the guys head spun around was some creepy shit!

Yeah by the time I get to New Vegas it will drop in price considering I still have to play Oblivion, Fallout 3, Mass Effect 1 and 2 and Dragon Age Ultimate edition not to mention a zillion other Xbox 360 games since I am just getting the system next week....

Hmm, I haven't gotten very far in New Vegas.. wondering if I should just pick this up instead. I'm hoping for a $40 price tag for this, (RDR goty was $40 iirc) considering New Vegas vanilla could be had for so cheap lately but I'm gonna assume their gonna milk it for all its worth and charge $60 for this package. Maybe amazon will have it cheap in for the holidays, here's hoping

I hope it will be on disk like Fallout 3 GOTY.

I was very frustrated by Borderlands code approach to the DLC release on GOTY. Makes it hard to delete the DLC from your hard drive when you are done- in case you want to play it in 5 years. Can we trust Microsoft to keep the legacy DLC available? Probably not.

This is why I don't buy Bethesda games at launch.

The game froze on me when I was hiding in the caves from the coyotes. That pissed me off.

I don't buy them at launch just because they always seem to have tons of bugs...

Although I am looking forward to Skyrim so much that it will be a launch purchase for me. Just going to save every 10 minutes...

I would be pissed off if coyotes chased me into a cave too.
