If No More Heroes is $14.99, I'll pick it up. I have some credit to use. Thanks Cheapy!

You can get No More Heroes from Gamefly for $20 right now. Great game, I got it a couple weeks ago when they had it for $17.

Hoping that Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is $20 or lower.

Let's hope these deals aren't like CoD... overrated and usually a big let down (yet you'll always have a few jokers defending in either case!).

Cheap Ass(hole) Gamers. Dot Com.

Stay classy, all. G'night and good luck!

EDITz: I'd be down for Ace Combat and DR2 if the price is right and DR2 is the PC version.

sadness. I'll be at work for both NMH and Ace Combat. Hopefully DR:OTR will be a good deal though, like $20. That would be awesome, like how EDF was sold for that price right after it came out.

Thanks for the heads up, but I'm not a member yet, so shipping costs would be added.

Agree, FIFA usually sells for $40 on Black Friday so I don't even think it'll be $40 tomorrow. I wouldn't recommend it for anything more than $40 since their collision engine still needs work.

It's at $49.99 and (presently on Amazon), at $39.99 it's a 35%-ish price-drop, off MSRP (20%-ish off their current price), it's an EA Title and it's been out x six (6) weeks; I'm still hoping for $29.99...

Mario and Sonic is showing $24.96 from Amazon right now, so this could drop anywhere from $15-$20 would be my guess and if so, I'm definitely in.

I haven't got DR2 yet, but I heard OTR is basically the exact same game. Most of the missions are the same, same survives ext, except with different cut scenes (now with more Frank), a small theme park area, and autosaves. How true is that?

Basically Should I just get DR2, or is OTR worth the extra 10-15?

The main character you use is Frank instead of Chuck, so that's basically the main difference. There's a sandbox mode which DR2 lacked, and the main story is not canon if and when we get a DR3.

It's really just a what if game designed to sell more copies of a tweaked game by appealing to fans that will buy anything Dead Rising, fans that didn't like Chuck, and people that passed on DR2 for other reasons.

If you just want the zombie-killing gameplay and don't really care about who you have to use, the cheaper option is probably your best bet.

OTR is worth an extra $10, but no more. The game has a shit ton of glitches that weren't in the original DR2 and can make it a total pain to play.

How the hell did they manage to do that? The one thing I hated about DR2 was the constricting time schedules of the quests and such, which was why I was excited when they added a sandbox feature to this update, but if it also comes with glitches, I may just wait.

Thanks you two, based on that I'll probably go just go with DR2. The adding of Auto-save seems to be the only big difference, and I liked the first one because it had the Rouge-like gameplay where you die and you start over (made it really replayable).

Though the sandbox mode sounds kinda appealing, but it would get boring fast. One final question, is Frank still an ass? I loved how he would just get pissed off at people "How can I trust You", "Its the Governments Fault in the first place","I'm Gunna be Famous", because if he is it would might make me bite @ $20, otherwise I'll wait till I see DR2 for $10 again.
