Exactly. It's much much better in the flesh so to speak. Good thing I didn't bite on Guitar Center and Sam Ash's promos last week (which will make it ~$300 + tax for the guitar alone). I also prefer using the bridge pup so far.


Got it from Craigslist. He was originally asking $240 for the bundle, but I was able to negotiate it down to $200.

Price seemed too good to be true, that the night before meeting up, I had a nagging feeling that he might be selling a fake Epiphone. MyLesPaul.com has an extensive thread on fake Epiphones so I read up on that arming myself knowledge on how to spot a fake one.

Let's just say I was both relieved and excited that it was genuine and in like new condition. Also when I got home, I opened the Gator case compartment and I found a pack full of Fender picks, a set of Ernie Ball Slinkys, the guitar manual, strap and allen wrench.

No - I just searched for every store up to about 7 hours away for the Squiers... I won't get to Charlotte for a looong time... Figured someone else may want to try out pro mode. I looked in RB this weekend and saw that I have 87 songs with Pro Guitar... Figured what the hell, why not try it out? Not like it's going to cost me a dime to do so.

Don't know how many of you are flippers... I looked at the PUR website yesterday just to see what points I had and what I could get They have 1 month unlimited JamPlay memberships for 3,000 points. May not be a bad option if you're interested in seeing what it's all about. Usually, a month costs $19.99...

I imagine they'll be doing DLC for quite awhile.

If you're friends with Rocksmith on Facebook, they leak all of the DLC songs in the days prior to the release on Tuesday.

As for me, I'm all over the "Cult of Personality" and "Burnin' For You" DLC.

I don't think you'll see the end of RS DLC for a while. There's no talk of a sequel and no talk of porting to the PS4 or 720... They just released to Europe a few months back. I figure we're good through the end of the year, at least.

Yeah, and it's also a good sign that they're doing DLC releases every week now. Used to be they'd release DLC every 2-3 weeks

Yay, Burnin' for You. I was hoping they'd release this after seeing the (inferior) Godzilla and Reaper come along.

Now if they'll just put out some more of Boston's stuff from their original record. Who *doesn't* want to play Peace of Mind, Smokin', or Foreplay/Long Time? And we know they can get it done since More Than a Feeling is already available.

Also, anyone else at the beginner/intermediate level finding No Rain is a lot of fun?

The digital PC copy is $19.49 on Steam and Amazon right now. Of course you'll need the cable, but not a bad price for those who missed out when it was $15 a couple months ago.

Yup, see whatcha mean. I remember "love" and "heaven" songs; just didn't remember their titles. "World" is bleh.
