I don't know how anyone else would feel about it, but I vote to keep Atlanta open until Yanksfan is able to play again (obviously subbing where we'd need to though). As far as I'm concerned, that's HIS team. I hope that whatever he's going through rights itself and he has time for less important things like video games again soon. He was definitely a huge asset to the league and will be missed.
I am really disappointed that Yanks had to leave, but I can completely understand.
I have no problem keeping it open. I think it would be okay if someone took it as a secondary team for when/if he comes back.

Off topic:
I got a message on xbox live last night asking to purchase my xbox live account. Obviously, I wont be selling or responding. My xbox account is worth much more to me then he is offering, not to mention that it's probably a scam.
Anyone else ever had something like this happen?

Edit: The best thing is that he is offering MSP. How would I even use then if I sell my account? lol.

Pats 31, Bills 28. A big interception with 30 seconds to go in my end to end the 1st half definitely put me down but I was able to come back and with a little more than 2 minutes left I just couldnt find a way to stop a Brady QB sneak at a 3rd and 1 and the rest is history. Good game, just hoping next time my DBs dont drop so many interceptions...

Damn, yanksfan. I hope everything works itself out alright. The league won't be the same without you.

I play the Falcons this week. Can anyone sub?

I'm back online, but my Madden disc is still absent. Which is moderately concerning, because I have the case, but no game inside.

See, this all started because my mom took Madden out of the Xbox to watch a DVD right before the move and now it has disappeared because she doesn't remember what she did with it. I've also been doing a bunch of offline gaming since I moved, lol.

35 - Saints
17 - Titans

I know we kinda exploded at each other. Hope we have it all resolved.
A real bummer for a game. The Titans played awful after CJ2K went out. And Three turnovers in a row (1 Int, 2 FBs) within my twenty pretty much sealed the game.

Thankfully CJ2K is back next week.

Saints - 35
Titans - 17

Sorry for the long recap, but this game was crazy, lol.

Tempers flared a bit toward the end of this highly contested game, as Dark Rider and I met for the second week in a row (in retrospect, we probably shouldn't have done that...as I think it just naturally started this game with a higher intensity). Picking up right where we left off last week, we took turns stopping each other for several possessions to start the game. Finally, following a Saints turnover, Tennessee drew first blood late in the 2nd quarter, with a 29 yard Chris Johnson run putting them up 7-0. The Saints answered back, marching down the field before Drew Brees found Jimmy Graham for a 24 yard TD strike a minute before half time.

After getting the ball back to start the 2nd half, the Titans offense really settled in behind Chris Johnson...until a gangbang..uh, I mean gangtackle by Jabari Greer, Malcolm Jenkins, and Cameron Jordan knocked him out of the game. The Titans had to settle for a field goal and a 10-7 lead. The Saints responded with their own running game, getting all the way down to the Titans' 9 yard line...before a ball-hawking Will Witherspoon stole the go ahead TD, giving the Titans the ball back with 4:00 to play.

This is where things got crazy. After Johnson's replacement, Jamie Harper, was stuffed in the backfield, Eli Manning threw a pick 6 to Tracy Porter, giving the Saints back the TD they had just missed out on two plays earlier. On the Titans' next possession, Manning threw to Harper, who was absolutely rocked by Keith Bulluck and fumbled (I have to take a little credit for this, as I was usering Bulluck the whole way, and it was a one-on-one tackle). Bart Scott scooped it up and returned it to the 5 yard line. On the next play, rookie Asa Fanning rumbled into the endzone to put the Saints up 21-10.

So, the Titans try again to mount a comeback, but on the 2nd play from scrimmage, again, Manning passes to a guy coming out of the backfield...this time, Ahmard Hall, and he gets rocked by Bart Scott and fumbles (this one was a little more questionable). Cameron Jordan picks this one up and returns it 15 yards to put the Saints up 28-10. On the next possession, the Titans go for broke, and throw a deep ball to Jared Cook Jr. which hits him in the helmet, bounces up into the air, sees both Jabari Greer and Roman Harper fan on it, and lands in Cook's hands, who takes it 80 yards for the score.

In a move that said "FINALLY" more than anything, Dark Rider flipped into the endzone on the play. I was a little annoyed by it...but only because on my previous 3 scores, I could have done it, but obviously didn't want to make him feel worse. However, following a surprise onside kick that I was expecting, it was payback time, lol. I threw the ball deep on 1st down just to keep him guessing, but then continued pounding away with Fanning. A sweep play from the Titans 29 yard line got Fanning into the endzone again, so I flipped my stupid ass in too, lol.

After kicking the ball back to him, he lined up for a fake field goal (what??? lol), which Roman Harper intercepted, and after that I just kneeled the ball and he did the same when I punted it back to him with 35 seconds left. It was a wild ass 4th quarter, and we both got a little crazy, lol. As I said, I think the fact that we just played last week built this game up too much. And going in, we both felt like we were going to lose...and considering there were times in this game when we both almost did, things got a little out of hand.

One really, really weird thing to add, somehow, in the box score, he got credit for a safety in the 1st quarter (though no safety ever occurred) and it shows a final score of 35-19. The only thing I can think that was even close to this was a time when he punted, and it was showing that it would land on the goalline. So, I moved my returner out of the way, but one of the blockers came running down field, and it seemed to bounce off of him, and then a Titans player, and then him again, until it went out of the endzone. It was ruled a touchback though (thank God), but that was really the only time there was anything close to a safety. Weird. GG, Dark Rider. As I said, we just need a break from each other, lol...our love is just too strong.

Saints
Drew Brees - 9-16, 123 yds, 1 TD, 2 INTs
Asa Fanning - 17 att, 109 yds, 2 TDs

Marques Colston - 3 rec, 28 yds
Keith Bulluck - 9 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 FF (player of the week maybe? please?)
Roman Harper - 6 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 INT
Cameron Jordan - 2 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FR, 1 TD

Titans
Eli Manning - 13-21, 142 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
Matt Hasselback - 0-1, 1 INT (why did he play? lol)
Chris Johnson - 13 att, 93 yds, 1 TD, 2 rec, 10 yds
Kenny Britt - 4 rec, 33 yds
Jared Cook Jr - 3 rec, 96 yds, 1 TD

I had no idea what I was doing on that fake field goal. BTW, Matt Hasselbeck was the one who threw the INT on that play.

Great game Nate! I agree, wee need to separate for a while.

On DVO's coattail I will be out from the 4th to the 16 as mentioned a few times prior and blade or Campbell will take my team for that 2 week span.

Also STILL waiting to firm up a time on Bengals/Texans.

Lions- 38
Broncos- 0

Lions
Stafford 4/5 1 TD 1 INT 119 yds
Best 19 atts 221 yds 3 TDs
Pettigrew 2 recs 88 yds 1 TD

Broncos
Tebow 8/22 121 yds
Fellis 3 recs 52 yds
Royal 3 recs 52 yds

Doc just got hammered this game, dropped catches, and interceptions all day. He also could not stop the Lions run game. I started running the clock out after the first half. It just wasn't his day, same kind of game I had last week.

Sorry man. I did not see this until just now. PMs are preferable, just for future reference.

I'm good for tomorrow night, if you can!
