Are you serious? There are other games on the list you can spread out to get credit. Employee said someone else did that and the manager put an end to it real quick. 2 or 3 max. Why get banned or ruin it for others who want to trade a few games.

Lol, no way man. I'm just screwing with ya. I wouldn't take 10 copies of a single game anywhere

Anybody do any trades today and can confirm values held? Specifically at the Overland Park, KS store? I tried calling twice, and both times was put on hold for 5+ min before I said screw it.

It's a good 40 min drive there, and 40 min back. I don't feel like doing it unless it's worthwhile. Especially in rainy weather. I think if I don't hear anything here soon, I'm gonna bail on this trip.

Wow kinect adventures $7

It's $2 at GameStop

I know it's not large flip, but ROI is high if you are heading up there anyway.

Even funnier, they had 4 copies on the shelf at the MC I went to for $3.19 each. It will be hard for them to make money that way.

We don't have a lot of extra money or else I would be all over this. Being selective it looks like you can turn $30+tax into $100 pretty easily. Making it 66% off Anything you buy basically.

If there is a 2 game limit then with the sales on you can replicate this 3 times if you are lucky. Making it $100 into $300. After that it starts getting closer to $50 to $100 in MC credit. Which is 50% off and is closer to BBY.

Man an iPad 2 for $200 is appealing... Or even just update my computer to play upcoming gen games.

today's experience:

their system does not allow the trade in of duplicates. Or more specifically, when you trade in duplicates the server shoots up an error msg, which at my store - crashes the system . According to the CSR, they connect to their national HQ server for trade-ins. at first he started scanning games, he got 3 kinect adventures in just fine, and by 3rd or 4th WWE Smackdown ( i had a couple on each system) the system totally crashed. he said he saw an error msg that said they do not allow duplicates. it took at least 5-10 min for the connection to their national HQ to be re-established, after which i only got to trade in one copy per system.

he seemed new, and had to go back and ask his lead a question 3 or 4 times. and the real kicker was when it was all done and ready to print, he didnt have a printer there and had to run around the store some more. the whole process took way too long and i dont have any idea what im even going to do with microcenter credit.

good luck flippers

Someone else in this thread mentioned something about the employees being clueless and waiting. If you go into a computer store to buy computer parts and you buy what the person helping you is telling you, you're doing it wrong. You go in to any store and tell the person what you want because you've done your research and know what you are there to get.

Secondly. Yea their trade in values are high, and they never have good deals on games. Yes their gaming areas are cool in the stores they have them, they even have some old collector stuff thats still normal price you wouldn't find other places. Chances are with the prices they have on games, and they amazing prices they have on computer hardware, you will spend your in store credit on something else. Which means you'll probably be buying a little more than what you expected due to having the increased funds.

Yeh those flipping to MC for games will be disappointed.

MC runs great promos on computers, computer hardware, and accessories.

Software and HDTV deals are mediocre with a good one every once in a while.

So those flipping should expect computers or computer hardware.

Go if you want to trade in a game from the ad, but be prepared to wait and bicker and talk to a manager.
I might try some games tomorrow. Need a new video card.

Closest store to me is about a 25 mile journey on the parkway. No thanks.. only reason to go that far is to hit AC and gamble lol. Good values though for anyone that has one nearby.

Dragon Age 2 and Kinect Adventures held their prices, $20 and $7 respectively.

Picked up a mouse with the credit
