That's not true. In fact, when the bundle was announced, Nintendo specifically said the Mario Kart bundles and older models would not be discontinued.

They can say whatever they want. The fact is that the older hardware model has vanished from almost all retailer shelves and is most likely out of production.

My Target had both the MK and NSMB bundles for $150. Gonna snag the NSMB one tomorrow.

Does anyone know if their TRU got Zelda with the controller? We have 4 preorders where I work and they sent us none and sadly I don't think it's an isolated case.

Huh, that's odd. Our Nintendo rep stopped in today to do a Mario 3D Land demo and I asked him and he said that he was unaware of any production issues or reason that anyone should not get it on time, so I'm not sure why we didn't get them.

I'm not sure you fully comprehend the meaning of the word "fact". My best Buy has a bunch. Amazon just got both the white and black back in stock, as did my local Walmart and Target. In fact, my Walmart got what mathematicians refer to as "a shitload". This after not having any in stock for a while. What likely happened is that people incorrectly assumed the old bundles would be discontinued and bought them while they could( at least that's what they thought) That's probably why Amazon had them out of stock for close to a month, as did Walmart. But I've pretty much seen them everywhere over the last week.

Wondering if Best Buy will price match Target on the 3DS. Not interested in the holiday bundles and would rather save the money.

I had no idea the wiis stopped being backwards compatible to GameCube.

I've got 3 copies of the Skyward Sword WR+ Bundles pre-ordered at Best Buy; one for me, one for a friend who's coming with me, and another to hold for a friend who's on vacation at the moment. If I pick up all 3 copies in the same transaction, will I get all 3 $10 gift cards, or will I need to do them separately to get each gift card?

The 2 for $10 is active now. I just purchased the standard Chop Chop and Bash. My daughter already has the Toys R Us exclusive Legendary 3 Pack. She wants to collect all the variants. Sweet for $10 and free shipping too!

I'm not even convinced they will give a gift card yet on preorders. They might just say not valid on previous orders, which it technically is. Anybody have experience with bestbuy preorders with gift cards that popped up later like this?

Gonna show up an hour before opening at my local Best Buy so I can get my hands on a Zelda + Remote bundle.
