Now, if that were a model 2.0 3DS with a second thumbstick built-in (instead of having to buy a peripheral for it), and it cost $169, then we'd be talking. But I'm happy to wait for Nintendo to release their inevitable system revision and have it go on sale before I'm getting on that train.
Same thing can be said for the Vita. It will have the inevitable revision as well. Though, I guess cancelling a pre-order on it would be stupid just to get a 3DS with Zelda decal.

Maybe. I'm trying to think what the revision will be. Maybe a slimmer/lighter model. That doesn't make too much of a difference to me. But a theoretical/unknown minor revision like that is a lot different (IMO) than a completely obvious and major hardware revision like adding a whole new control device.

Don't get me wrong, I was originally really tempted by that Zelda 3DS, too, because let's face it, it's really nice... I just don't think the cost is appropriate compared to what you're getting for it.

My 2 cents on 3DS is that I bought one at launch, was absolutely let down by it, sold it for $200 and couldn't be happier with my decision. I won't bother to trash the system in detail.

I didn't get a Toys R Us flyer today, but here's the Staples game page if anyone wants it:

That Staples flyer is pretty pathetic.

Having wrapped dead island, I'd say $15 if you play solo and $20 if you have game bros. Good news is that it starts strong.

Hope they'll have a good Xbox 360 Kinect bundle deal. Like $200 or something.

Was just at my Walmart today and they still have stock of Arkham City + Arkham Asylum. Anyone know if I'd be able to get that as part of the $30 for Arkham City deal? It does say Asylum is a "bonus".

It isn't in the main part of the flyer, but is a seperate section that says "3 Days Only Black Friday Prices". If you're looking at the flyer online it's listed a "Special".

Anyone seen anything for Best Buy yet?

I think I'm going to use that T2/$60 at EB for the ME3 CE edition and maybe pick up a copy of Dirt 3.

Hm, nothing I really want. Rage at $39 is quite tempting, but I feel that's going to become the MSRP soon. I think I'll save my cash for Boxing Day, last year I picked up a TON of stuff. Hoping to get the same luck this year.

Don't forget it's also the last few days to pick up discounted Xbox LIVE points / PSN cards at Wal-Mart.

2 for $30
- Xbox LIVE 1400 Points
- PSN $20 Card

Not sure if you can mix and match. Haven't tried it as I only have a PS3.

Sale ends on November 28th. After Nov. 28th they are back to regular price.
