Yep, that's the chance you take. Although, hopefully you never mentioned "price adjustment", that's the worst thing you can do. If you ask for a price adjustment from the onset, the first thing CSR will do in scan the item and see that it is on clearance and, assuming they know their own store policy, deny it outeight. Always ask for a change payment type or return/rebuy from the getgo, NOT a price adjustment.

At the very least they should have allowed you to keep the item at the price you paid - now it's gone into the hands of a CSR or other store employee at the "new" clearance price. It will NEVER hit the floor, be it in the next minute, next hour, next day or next week from when you returned it.

I checked some...full price. Any of you know what's going on? This is 1 of the wierdest YMMV I have seen! I wonder if Amazon will double a $50 cash deposit. Hmmm, j/k.

I re-checked a few other Targets that I hit this past Sunday and they both had a TON of new games on clearance.

I picked up:

DS - Thor - $8.98 (I love WayForward games!)
3DS - Samurai Warriors Chronicles - $14.98 (last copy and I've heard good things so what the hey)

Saw:
PS3 - Red Dead Redemption - $19.98
PS3 - Naruto 2 - $27.98 (would've bit at >$20)
PS3 - Transformers: War for Cybertron - $27.98 (^ ditto)
PS3 - Fallout New Vegas - $13.98
360 - Child of Eden - $27.98 (hoping this hits >$10)
...and most of the other stuff that's already been mentioned.

Every store in my area is wiped clean of the Amazon cards.
An employee at one of the stores actually told me they had to be sent back to Amazon for some reason...?
Oh well, at least I scored 7 cards at $17.50 a pop last night.

I think 4 of us have. I know 3 of us are in the Midwest. IL, IL, WI, and I don't remember where the traffic cone is from.

Found Kindle cards in my area but they are still regular price.

Bought WWE '12 instead.

No sign of Kindle cards at my Target. Not even for full price.

Picked up a few games at Target, really insane clearance prices. I need to go to a few more, I really want the Samurai Warriors 3DS game.

Going to see what my local Target has to offer. Looks like that particular store has both Castlevania and Dead Space 2 listed as "Limited Availability", so hopefully that means they're on clearance. Wouldn't mind spending $20 on the pair.
