I may have to buy that Gears Triple Pack, depending on whether or not it sells out in 35 milliseconds like every other lightning deal has been.
Sort of O/T question: I have a $20 credit from buying Madden from Amazon this year. If I use it to but the Gears pack, what happens to the rest of the credit? Does it stay on my account? |

So basically all they're doing is price matching some of the deals from other competitors, and that too only as lightning deals (which don't last much at all; thankfully I got most of them in through BB's pre-BF sale). What happened to taking the initiative, Amazon?

Massive, but nothing for me I don't already have. Guess I'll pass on Amazon and stick with other sites for BF.
No GoW: Origins? Zelda? Ico? Metal Gear? Is it me or are these prices not BF prices? Some of those $14.99 games I got $9.99 exactly 1 year ago at Black Friday, like Infamous, both Ratchet games, etc. They aren't even matching Walmart's already advertised prices that are $2~$8 cheaper.

Hopefully I can skip Wal-mart.
EDIT: They didn't even match Wal-Mart on everything (Kinect Sports Season 2, I guess Wal-Mart is taking a bath on that one), and most of the other prices are eh...I didn't really want to buy much anyway so Amazon you made it easy for me.

Not terribly surprising, this follows the Amazon BF blueprint of the last few years with a few "unique" deals thrown in. I'll opt for the Wal-Mart route on Arkham City. I know the lightning deal will be 100% claimed within mere seconds.

There aren't really any good $10-and-under games on the Amazon Black Friday list, and that's the amount I keep my game purchases under. Nothing here that makes me jump for joy. Steam it is...
It's funny, there's stuff on this Amazon list that was CHEAPER last Black Friday. (Just don't get between me and the $200 PS3 Holiday Bundle. I'm finally getting on board the current gen console train.) |
