http://www.nba.com/2012/news/02/16/s....ap/index.html

The Hornets and the Suns are the teams that they appear to be targeting. The league isn't going to expand because they were just talking about contraction and teams losing money. Too many teams have shitty owners and are in bad markets.

The league took over the Hornets to keep them from relocating, otherwise they would have already moved.

Stern would love to have a rotation of cities to threaten small markets into building new arenas and taking on more of their building and operating costs.

Kings just reached a new agreement with Sacramento on a new arena the other day, so they're not going anywhere now.

Yeah, this isn't real talk, for the reasons stated above. Sorry, Seattle.

This Knicks/Celtics game has been crazy good. Rondo once again proves why he's the best PG in the league.

Great Laker-Heat game. Wade dumbass foul out. Dudes starting to look cheap with that karate kick he try on Bynum. LeBron prove that he was the best player with that defensive he play on Gasol.

To be fair, it was against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Lebron's post defense on Gasol was instructional video-worthy. Kobe's jumpshot (and space creation) was a thing of beauty all day. Fun game to watch, and something that should be required viewing for young players.

Here's what should happen:

#1 - Retract the Charlotte Bobcats
#2 - Move the New Orleans Hornets back to Charlotte
#3 - Give a new team to Seattle

Seattle retained the rights to the "Sonics" name. Whatever team that goes there (if any) would be renamed the Sonics. I would have been all for the Hornets moving to Seattle so that the current Charlotte franchise could have the Hornets name back mostly because the name "Bobcats" and the orange, blue and gray colors really suck. Of course Bob Johnson had to get his name into the team name, at least that's how I saw it when it was announced.

I think the only reason the league stepped in and kept the Hornets from moving is so Stern wouldn't get egg on his face for approving the move from Charlotte in the first place.

BTW, George Shinn was the second worst owner of the past few decades right behind Donald Sterling.

Dallas not getting dirk the ball at the end of games is really pissing me off. Why they don't run their offense through the German is mind boggling. Carlilse needs to make the team watch the playoffs from last year.

Magic are so up and down this year. Lose to the Bobcats the other day (worst record in the league) beat the Bulls (best record in league) last night.

Do you want to know if the Magic won or lost on any given night? Then look at their 3pt shooting percentage. Yesterday they started off red hot and build a big lead. They were up by 12 or 15 pts with about 2 min to go before the half. Yet they go to the locker room only up 5. The Bulls comeback down 1 with about 4 min to go and Orlando hits a couple of 3s and all of a sudden they are looking pretty. They blew a 20pt lead against the bobcats because they shot poorly from outside the arc and barely got to the line. You live by the three and you die by it.

If LeBron doesn't win the MVP unanimously the award is entirely meaningless.
