I never would've interpreted that as 1 game, either, just that it applies to ANY game and there are no restrictions. Pretty straightforward imo.

That's a more fair question. The accounts are tied to name and b-day so you should be fine. I had to someone do the trade in for me today since I'm banned, same address, no problem.

Not sure why Uncharted 3 on the hot list is showing $14 base but when I went in-store it is $10 base.

I went in and traded in 3 games today. I noticed after I left the store (and was at home) that I didn't receive my 10% bump in TIV because I'm "unlocked." I've never had an issue getting the extra 10% in the past, and got it at another store earlier in the day...

Usually not once store finished trade in they cannot adjust it with my own personal experience. Sometimes they forget to ask if you are unlocked, I always tell them. If you did tell them and they messed up it might be worth a trip to store.

If Anyone is trading in LittleBigPlanet 2 (standard not goty) make sure they type it in with no spaces otherwise the $10 base will not be reflected in TIV. just a heads up.

Didn't get the extra 10% bonus even though I'm unlocked. I had to go to customer service in order to trade my game (since there was no one around the gaming section) and the girl behind the register had clearly not done a game trade before. But she scanned my RZ card so in theory I should have gotten the 110% automatically. She called over several different employees and managers and they all said they were pretty sure the 10% extra doesn't stack. It was an extra $1.20 so it wasn't worth the fight but I'm wondering if I'll even get RZ points for this transaction.

One manager even said, "I think that 10% extra was just for last month. This is a better deal anyway." It's that kind of thing that can make a CAG lol.

There is always that one worker who insists that doesn't stack for some reason...and that's mostly a worker who hasn't covered the gaming section for long.

Someone pointed it out in the other thread, but if you bought Pilot Wings for $5 back when it was a DOTD a few months ago you can turn around and get $12.60 for it with maximum promotion bumps. If you haven't played it yet, you can go through the main challenges in like 2 hours.

I had that worker today who finalize the trade-in without my 10% GCU so they had to manually discount the product I was buying with amount of the 10%. He keeps insisting that you don't get extra 10% because there is already a promotion running.

Will I be able to call RZ and add the trade in pts since he never input my RZ #?

Yeah the 100% on any game doesn't click to a new page and the hot titles actually states PLUS 10% for GCU members. That's why I linked it instead.

Some BB workers might be an ass and point out technically that might only be for hot titles but just tell them that if there is an option to add the 10% and it does then that means it's stackable. Otherwise BB would have programmed their system to void out the extra 10%.

But since their 10% trade-in is also their incentive for GCU members to join their membership, I don't see why they would.

If not you might be able to go back to where you traded it in and make them redo your transaction and get your extra 10%.
Extra work for them but oh well.

This has happened a couple of times for me now and I've only found one solution: Have the 10% difference manually deducted from the price of something else purchased in the BBY store where you didn't receive the GCU bonus. If you have your trade-in receipt and explain why you should have received the 10% extra, and you're speaking with a sympathetic and understanding employee, you should be fine.
