Interesting. Some have pointed out that purchase history doesn't matter in return ban decisions but TRE's site says it does.

I was banned in the Nov/Dec wave also. I tried last week and was denied. I'm hoping that it comes off at the 1 year mark.

Anyway, turned $20 into $40 with the 100% bonus today (I'm not unlocked (yet)) with some games I never play and finally have tried to start playing the flipping game:

Wii - Zack and Wiki - $2.00
360 - Def Jam Icon - $3.00
360 - COD Black Ops - $12.00
DS - Sims 2: Castaway - $3.00

x2 for $40. Wanted to post mainly to let everyone know the blops price is still accurate to their online value estimator, for now.

Just got back from trying to trade in and about 2/3 of my games were rejected because they weren't flawless. I stated that Best Buy refinishes them anyway and that they were not in horrible shape at all. She then told me that the store got into trouble from corporate for accepting "really" scratched games and that the store was getting charged for all the games that were unrepairable. Looks like they are cracking down...has this happened to any of you guys???

So the TIV's get reavoluated tommrrow right? I bought some wii games today to flip, but I wont trade them in until thursday.

Has anybody had trouble trading in multiple copies of the same game? Are you even allowed to do that?

I just wanted to ask before I went in and tried it.

This is true. Some accept up to 3 copies, some only 1 of the same game/same system. Best just to try it, and if they say no, well you just take your extras home with you and trade them in at another time.

I went to a BB yesterday to trade in some crappy games with higher TIV that I expected, and got a brand new employee (his first day) who had no idea how to do tradeins. He called over another guy from the Wireless section who also had no idea, and after 30 minutes and a hell of a lot of fumbling around (and asking for my phone number about 7 times), I finally managed to get my credit... Sigh. I sort of wish one of them was a manager so I could have tried to wheedle some free credit for my time, but no dice. Although it was funny that at least 2 groups of people were waiting behind me to ask questions and gave up because the employees looked so clueless and lost on my transaction.

As for BB requiring DL, ID, or thumbprint, it's not just that it's corporate policy, it's that it's basically a pawn shop transaction, and in case of an audit they need that information (or so I was told). Gamestop did the same thing when I traded in an ipod.

I believe earlier in the thread (Sunday morning) it was stated by at least two people the 100% goes into October, though I don't recall the exact date offhand, sorry.

It's not corporate policy. It's local law.

Cant believe that Sleeping Dogs is only at $16. Wish it would be at least $20 so I could get back $42. Oh well, ebay it is.

took in skyrim, mw3, madden 11, madden 12, tekken 6, wwe legends of wrestlmania,and just dance 2. got a $126 gift card. Not a bad haul. I got 8 bucks for madden 11 which was a nice surprise. Got 12 for madden 12 which was great considering I got it on sale when it was $10. I think I'm going to clear out a bunch of the stuff I'll never touch.

I have a question for example I have El Shaddai(, I bought it from worstbuy last month for $10 brand new) for the XBOX360 on the bestbuy online estimator it says it is worth $6. So if I were to bring it into worstbuy today will I get $12 because of the 100% trade in bonus?
