I'm sending in some minty complete items as well... it's actually become something of a test because I'm wondering if some of these third party fulfilled by Amazon types are hunting for high grades in order to reseal them and sell them as New.
I noticed these too and have sent out some things I had lying around. Considering hitting up a few gamestops as well. All have cases / artwork, 2 missing manuals.
You think these TIV's are a glitch / mistake and prone to being rejected? Already had plans for that free GC I was getting lol.

Nice! I love TG lots. I wish I could find more TG games in my area.

I used to spend hours hex editing all of my games and submitting the cheats to CheatCC. Man, those were the days...I would really like to see GameShark make a comeback soon.
I thought it indicated the value in the sense that when I sell games it's primarily on Amazon, and that was a screenshot of the prices on Amazon at the time of my post. If you couldn't find things for a better price than the "going rate" often, this site wouldn't exist.

Me too. This is the first I've even seen Turbo Grafix stuff in my area out in the wild, except for last year I think. A local thrift store had the system and keith courage for around 80 dollars if I remember right. Tried to see if it would make it to 50% off day so I could pick it up for under 40, but it was gone by then.

There technically was a GameShark, but it didn't enable cheats; it was more of a media manager/player. I believe the last "real" GameShark made was for Gamecube. We have Xploder for the current-gen consoles, but it just uses modded saves rather than actual cheats (and you really don't need to buy Xploder for that). Le sigh. I know most people these days are against cheating, but I for one miss being able to disable/lower random encounters when playing JRPG's.

But those aren't the going rates; they are inflated prices from sellers doing a lot of wishful thinking. The going rate is the amount that something actually sells for, which is quite a bit lower (around $15-$40 in this case). If you put your copy up for less, you'll likely have the best chance of selling, but only if it's a reasonable price and/or you attract someone who can't use eBay for some reason. Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy to see you bring in a nice chunk of change; I just don't expect it to be quite as profitable as you would like.

You're probably okay if the TIV is close to the base value--heck we could compare notes if you want of what gets accepted or rejected. I didn't trade in any PS2, Gamecube, or newer stuff; I was mainly doing ps1 and NES thru n64. What weirded me out was getting $20-30 credit on games that are normally $5-10...the only other thing I can figure is that Gamestop's plans of moving into the retro market are already having some pre-emptive effect.

I dunno, the sales rankings on some of those are pretty good. Plus the fact that you can use Amazon credit allows for some of the items to sell higher. Amazon is kind of like a rollercoaster; that bottom listing shows that all conditions have been bought up to that amount, but you can make sales for higher than that amount. Listings can go either way really, the price can tumble when supply temporarily outpaces demand, but also the whole market can shift and suddenly one's camped-out high price will be the new low price.

I know what you mean. Just because something is listed Buy it Now on eBay for $100 doesn't mean it's actually worth that much. In my case I bought that about a month ago and sold it (on Amazon) a day later for $59.99, the lowest price at the time.

So I agree they aren't worth that much, but in my experience people do actually pay that much.

So let's hope Obiwan456 didn't toss his!

$2 total Never too many copies of pick of destiny. Hadn't seen Hex yet, so I figured I'd buy the blu for $1.

$8 total

$10 total for some reason I thought these were worth more.

Paid $9 total. 1st pic all sealed. 2nd pic because they were 25 cent each. 3rd pic better stuff.

Remember kids, I don't have a smartphone or a way to check pricing. I tend to buy sealed stuff if it is cheap. Looks like the Judy Collins CD and the Journey's End are good ones!

More to come...

I think they fixed it... while I was processing stuff the trade in valued changed. Should have gotten in faster... I did manage to get in two copies of Spyro 3 and two copies of Crash 3 for a combined 91.00 so I guess I can't complain...

Commando, Bad Dudes, Major Leauge baseball, castlevania, twin eagle, legend of zelda, legend of kage, adventure island 2, captain america and the avengers, the simpsons bart world, and also world and water rage. Nice score on the N64 mic adapter. I've been trying to get ahold of one of those, but they're not cheap (or at least not as cheap as I would like).

Not bad at all. Most of those are worth the standard $2-$5, but Castlevania, Adventure Island 2, and Captain America & The Avengers go for about $10-$15 each.

I wish I could find controllers like that. That's one of the newer models even.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was for an OG xbox or the 360, but then I looked closer and figured it out. It didn't have the cover on the back, but the guy looked around for it. He said his brother traded off a lot of his old stuff and these were the leftovers. He thought I was crazy for wanting the "empty case".

Neutopia 2 actually never came with a case. Some TG16 games were just the card with a manual inside the cardboard box, so having just the card and manual is kinda considered complete since almost everyone threw away the outer boxes
