Anyway, didn't bother garage saling today, but I did get an NES with about 10-12 games and an extra RF cable/power cord for $30 from an auction house I always go to. Needs some cleaning, but that's no prob.

I swung by a few yard sales this morning, nabbed this stuff:



I got all the SNES games for $10 extremely luckily. The GBA player I found to complete my disc for $5.



I love finding nerf guns. It has all the darts and was only $2.

I swear it's rained every saturday for the last 2 1/2 months.

The Overpriced-ness in my area is insane, I ran into a sale today where they wanted $17 for ONE DVD and $20 for each blu ray.

This must have been the weekend for overpricing everything since I seemed to run into nothing but outrageously overpriced sales.

Game wise it was a bust today. First one had 360/PS3 games but were close to CL level prices. Guy wanted Skyrim for $40. Another sale was cleaned out by a guy an hour before the sale started and I came 20 minutes early too. The second sale the only thing I saw was Kinect Adventures and some USB PC controllers. One sale had some PS1 controllers and some uninteresting PC games but that was it. I was gonna get THPS4 but NBA Jam (not the current gen one) was inside. At another sale a guy bought some decent PS2 games and I asked for more but he forgot them and I'll be back tomorrow to check. He did mention having Madden 12 but I already have the HoF edition. One sale that didn't start said to come back next week. The lady said his husband had some PS2 stuff, possibly more, but they had a setback and weren't able to set up.

My non game finds were decent:
Disney Books: America and Stories from Another Land $2
Sonic Selects Volume 2 manga 25 cents
Olympus Digital Camera $5

I thought the Disney books would be valuable but I'd pretty much break even if I tried to sell online. They're pretty neat and in good condition so I'll just keep them. The camera is really scuffy but it works and all I need is an SD card, which will probably cost more than the camera itself lol

This week:



I found cod:bo, infamous 1 and 2 all for $2 a piece.

4 ps2 and 1 wii game for $4.

and 2 gears of war, halo: fall of reach (new revision) and resistance novel all for $1 a piece. Also some digimon bed sheets (fabric) for quilting and stuff for my to be born son.

Lol already experienced it. When I first got it the battery compartment had the batteries left in and corroded. after finally getting it open, and taking the other ones out I put new ones in and it didnt work.

of course there was dried battery acid everywhere, so i took some white vinegar/water mix, and a tooth brush and cleaned the battery pack. It fired up like a charm. I set and played Mario tennis for an hour and was like ok now i have you i can mark you off my list lol. boxed and put in closet.

Was that really $.25?

Not a ing thing today.

Hope to have a few more community sales before the end of summer.

Got a gameboy advance in okay shape along with carrying case, mario party advance, and 3 cheap games for $8.00
Also got Kotor 1 and xmen legends 2 games for xbox for $5 total
Non gaming related got a pokemon board game with most pieces for $1

Well my day started off bad...

I drove 25 minutes to a "new area" (to me) to try my luck. Only problem is the sale I went to first advertising ds, gamecube, and wii games was actually last week.

Then I went to another sale advertising games. I was worried he would be sold out as I arrived 20 minutes after it opened. I didn't miss anything because he wanted $20-$40 per game.

Hit another sale that "had a ton of games earlier" and bought a few scraps.

Then I had 2 quality finds at 2 different sales.

You will read about them in a few weeks as I am way behind on my postings!

Not much today as far as sales went, all I really found was a like-new Turtle Beach headset X11 for $1. Lady said her husband only used it once.

On a side note, at one sale they had a big box of porn DVDs for $10 (like 50+). In the wide open next to their regular DVDs... Some people have no class. Of course I passed.

Nice deal on the two PS2 slim consoles... very nice

I'm tempted to go back and offer like $60, because there is no way she sells them. The systems actually appeared to be in pretty good shape.

also my friend gets beaten by people who pay top dollar. one guy spent $100 infront of me and my friend on a whole bunch of pokemon stuff that we were only suggesting like $20. so someone out there might have bought that nes.

Well, nothing for me today. Didn't realize it was Saturday.

Didn't (and won't) have a chance to go out this week because it is my high school graduation! I guess graduating is totally worth skipping a weekend of sales. Killed me inside a little bit though, because it was a beautiful weekend and I saw so many sales driving around town...
