its their own fault. The last game that had the same kind of mistake was Undead knights for PSP.

The game is not half bad, although it isn't Projet DIVA if you like MJ songs its quite good.

Also you can always redownload it if you already downloaded the demo (glitch) full game. (I tested it works) When you install to your vita it deletes the game but all one needs to do is goto the history. In the future if someone wants to share it.

So anyone know why the other games didn't work? I put rayman origins, and lumines in my downloads too just in case, but apparently they won't work? They looked to be the same size as the full game

Put it up to download last night and woke up this morning to find it completed--thanks OP, I will transfer this when I get my Vita!

Am I the only one who thinks the "Michael Jackson: The Experience" is a really bad title for a game? Or did we forget all about that stuff because they settled out of court?

So... if the download is already in your list of downloads could we just download it another time?

Ok, next up is Chris Brown: The Experience and R Kelly: The Experience which really aren't as bad as Michaela Jackson: The Experience but I heard Phil Spector: The Experience is no fun either...

Because devs are lazy. It's dangerous to remove assets from a game, and much easier to simply code a game to stop after a certain level. Removing stuff might cause more bugs, and with bandwidth/storage as cheap as it is lately, it's just safer to keep all the assets in there.

When we worked on the demo for Up, we left every single sound/music asset in the entire game on the PSN demo, because that's how our packaging system worked. We didn't included extra levels, but the unused sounds probably added a few hundred megs to the download.

Oh ok, so the other demo's are just like xbox live arcade game trials basically?

The other games do "work," at least to Ubisoft's intentions. These demos can be unlocked in the Near application, so I assume if you wanted to buy the game, all you had to do was unlock it and the game is yours. Michael Jackson didn't have that restriction for some reason

Watching people defend this is hilarious. So if the cashier at Target didn't ring you up for a game and you knew about it, that's cool, right? Or if the security system glitched and didn't pick up the security tags for one game, it's cool to take it, right?

I love the hypocrisy.

Yes. The mistakes of others (including machines) are not of my concern. Plus, I get a free game! Seems perfectly fine to me.

Missed out on this hot MJ: Ex deal. Not sure if I'm disappointed or relieved. Even if I had snatched it for free, I'd likely still feel obligated to play it.

I'm glad I DLed all of the demos at about 2 AM - worst-case scenario, I've got a handful of demos when there are only a couple I'm interested in, best-case, I got a handful of Vita games for nothing.

Thank you Moral Police for showing us the light. Ethically (by law/social standards) there is nothing wrong here. They screw up, we take advantage. If you can't live with it morally (personal distinction of right and wrong), then don't do it but don't assume your moral compass is the right one.

Your analogy is also weak. This is more like a rep giving us the full size box instead of a free sample.

Considering all the consumers Ubi has disgruntled with their DRM, this is a minor comeuppance, especially after the Vuvuzela measure in the other MJ game.

Regarding the game's title... Jackson was never convicted so I'm not convinced he did what he was accused of. He was weird but I'm not sure he was a straight-up pedophile. Meanwhile, Chris Brown and R. Kelly did that shit.

I would add that in the retail analogy, there is a physical product with a cost of producing and distributing, whereas digital sales involve strictly the production of the software (though Sony takes cuts for hosting and bandwidth, but those costs apply to any software, demo or full release).

I realize you're still taking advantage of a glitch, but I don't equate it the same as shop-lifting or a cashier accidentally not ringing up one of your purchases, again, because of the physical inventory.

Morally, I might take more issue with a video game publisher seeing dollar signs over making a game about Michael Jackson following his death and profiting off of the use of his image, so maybe this little glitch is just karma.
