Colton is a giant bigot. Couldn't believe it since he is gay. It is more than just race and class. He called every derogatory name for a little person behind Leif's back. Flat out disgusting.

You can add Tarzan to that list too. How could he possible try to stick up for that crap at tribal... For being a plastic surgeon (no way I truly believe it), he is the dumbest of the bunch. He was adament about tribal. What a bunch of morans.

This is what my wife said a couple episodes ago, and I told her "I guarantee you he has money." That's the only possible way someone could be completely oblivious to the adversity the gay community faces on a daily basis. What's even worse though is that we then learn he's somehow Republican (I'm guessing he doesn't have the slightest clue how they feel about "his people") and from Alabama.

What got me though was how the women's tribe was all over Kat for being young and not having any life experience, when Colton's "profession" is listed as "college student" and he clearly doesn't have any idea how the world works, but none of the guys will question him at all.

And I still don't understand how revealing that he had the immunity idol changed the entire game. Nobody really liked him, and it seemed pretty obvious that he would be the first to go. Then, because he has the idol, he's just untouchable? Either trick him into thinking you're voting someone else off...or split the damn vote, force him to play the idol, and get him next time. It's not that freaking complicated. The only thing I can figure is that outside of the "pretty boys", no one was thinking alliance that early...and the fact that Troyzan despised the "pretty boys" prevented him from going with them (which was just a stroke of luck for the other outcasts in my opinion).

Overall, watching this season feels like watching an episode of Jerry Springer. It can be entertaining, but has no redeeming qualities or anything that you could consider rational thought. At this rate, the thought of any of them getting a million dollars makes me sick.

This is why they need to get rid of the hidden idols. It used to be people would get it and they would work to blindside them or the person with the idol with hide. Now people get it and the person with the idol gets a free pass to the end of the game.

I don't think he is the stupid one(though I do hate him), I just think that if three of those guys would have switched their vote to Colton- he would be going home, since they knew he wasn't using the idol. They have to draw the idol out. But I'll bet he'll be using it soon if they switch the teams up.

Well there is no advantage to choosing to go to tribal so its obviously stupid and it was his idea.

I completely agree. I was really ticked when Colton was just being a racist, but since he's shown himself to be every other kind of bigot, he's just going to make me turn off the show. Forever, probably. I came from a gay household, and I'm tired of them manipulating gay culture by casting all these complete azzturds so they can have their wacky gay character. Between Amazing Race and Survivor, Mark Burnett and company have driven these stereotypes into the ground.

That's the thing I find so bizarre. I mean hasn't anyone seen just how much power they've put in his hands? They voted out Bill purely because Colton does not like him. That's it. Bill wasn't in the dominant alliance, sure, but is that really any immediate threat that needs to be taken out now? If I was on that tribe, I'd worry about how long it would be before I did something to piss off that prima donna and be in his sights next. Yet, instead, everyone just goes along with his idiocy for no understandable reason.

I think he's secretly sucking everyone's cock at night when the cameras are off. No other explanation for it.

I completely agree. If he made the same comments about someone's race CBS probably wouldn't even have aired it. It was appalling.

Or, even worse, if someone else had used a slur about him being a homosexual, there would have been a global uproar and a Facebook campaign about it. It just blows my mind seeing a gay man with so much prejudice and hate in his heart. I mean, not that being gay just makes you a good person, but I've never seen someone like that not know how it feels to be judged and looked down upon...or how wrong it is to do that to others. It's awful because all he's going to accomplish is giving people who hate "his kind" more ammunition to do so. It's this type of behavior that just unravels decades of civil progress.

I hope the producers dont get some idea that hes some great villain that should return in future seasons because he is not.

I hope the live audience boos the ever loving shit out of him at the reunion show.

Colton is a prick. I think it'll be funny when the merge happens, he thinks he's got both sides in his pocket. And they all gangvote him out.

I thought Bill was a douche, but gained a mountain of respect for him in that single episode. It was like everything Colton said about him in his interviews the editors made it seem that way. Then the guy gets to talk without being edited and, if the guys were not total assholes, would have just switched and voted out Colton right there.

I felt bad for Leif, up until he sat there smirking that Bill went home when he just got done saying he told Bill he was the original target at the previous tribal because he was his "friend."

And Tarzan is crazier than a shithouse rat. That racism diatribe of his was just awkward.

That's what I'm afraid of. As much as they might pray and hope for it, Colton is not the new Russell. Russell was someone who was in it to win it no matter the cost. He didn't care about ethics or making friends or even being liked. He just wanted to be the winner. Russell might've been a huge prick, but he was entertaining to watch because he was so into the game.

Colton just appears to be the opposite. He really has no strategy for winning the game. His main focus seems more on making the island comfortable for himself by getting rid of the people who dare not fit his worldview on how things should be. There's really no entertainment in watching him because, as of yet, he's not a good player - athletically or strategically. Just because he's an asshole doesn't make him a great villain. It just makes him an asshole.

Well they are showing promos and declaring him a super villain so there goes that

Hate to say it, but when the promos declare someone a super villain it usually means they made it to finals. Like how they had a lot of Russell promos, as if they already knew where he finished and wanted to subtheme the season around it.

That's not necessarily the case (Cochran from last season, Naonka, Coach on his first season, etc.), though perhaps that's just wishful thinking on my part. But really, at this point Colton is pretty much the perfect person to take to the end. He will gleefully and openly make every decision in your alliance, and considering his personality, is guaranteed to self-destruct at the final tribal council.

Okay, good point about Cochran. I hope you're right, because Colton is a gargantuan asshole.

Just watched last weeks episode this weekend... OMG! How stupid are those guys for suggesting going to tribal and how stupid are the minority for going along with it? Give the girls a free ride, even the #s instead of being 2 up on them.

I can't stand Colton... sitting there like the Queen summoning the lower people to berate them and express his displeasure and then send them away when he's done talking. I was really hoping they would somehow vote him off.

I agree. I never liked Bill... thought he was on drugs or drug withdrawal for the last couple of episodes, but this past episode - especially at tribal, I like him. He seemed to have a good attitude and made Colton look like shit.

I couldn't believe Tarzan was defending Colton. He came across as a racist too. He's tired of the "race card"... Bill never brought it up... Either Colton or Jeff brought up race. And then he goes on to say someone about having a black president. I hope he's the third one to go, after Colton and Alicia (the shank that is always causing conflict... "you saying I'm not good at puzzles" Apparently not!)

Why are the contestants such sheep with the recent Survivor seasons?
