Best Vita Deal For Launch
Here are the deals I know: Best Buy ===== $20 towards games/acessories FutureShop ======= Free 4GB mem card $20 towards any game (weird this was on their front page yesterday, saying valid from feb 22-23, now it is not there... oh wait it is on page 22 of their flyer, online). EB Games ====== They all seem to have 1 st ed. bundle available still, but the only thing of value in that bundle is the case, and mem card. No interest in little deviants, so the BB deal is better than this one. Wal-Mart ====== No specials Am I missing anything?

As noted in the other thread, if you can be patient you can get the Vita at Shoppers Drug Mart on Saturday and get 20x the Optimum points on it, which equals about $75 in store credit (more if used on bonus redemption days).

The flyer shows that you only get 20x points on Tampons? According to the thread Jogurt mentions, the 20x is in next weeks flyer (comes out thursday).

I went for the FS deal. The 4gb card is a little useless if you're planning on downloading full games, but the $20 gaming credit is a nice touch. Also, according to my receipt said credit can be used on any game, so it should be applicable to the purchase of PS3/360 games as well.

I am going to do the SDM deal. $85 is a lot of lettuce.
I was looking at the non d/l games, and the most space any of them require is 64MB. I know it is a PITA to share mem cards, but is it hard to have multiple 4GB cards and swap them depending on the game you need? I forsee these 4GB cards becoming dirt cheap on 2nd hand market. ~S |

These memory cards are fingernail-size and the slot is on the bottom right of the system. They're more of a hassle to switch, especially since you can't really label these things. Unless if you have good organization, it'll be hard to tell what's on each cards. You might as well buy physical games rather than trying to squeeze less a few games onto each of them.

I'm pretty happy with the Futureshop deal, since I intended to buy a game and a memory card today anyway.
