Can't wait for sunday! My store has tons of FFXIII-2 still. I already bought the CE from them a couple of weeks before for $59.99 (pricematched with GS sale before). Its still unopened to this date. I'll buy a copy of the vanilla on sunday to open and play. hehe!

Yeah I just posted in the other thread. I thought FF was one of them but its not. My mistake.

Wow, leave it up to Best Buy to FUBAR the coupon while fixing the glitch. I stopped at a Best Buy kind of out of the way to pick up a copy of RDR. When I went to the register, the coupon would not apply. The girl tried telling me that it was 17.99 and wouldn't work.

I grabbed copy of Halo Reach, knowing it was 19.99, and same thing, two dollars got knocked off and the coupon would not work. The girl called over the manager and she confirmed it wasn't working, but instisted that since Reach was "on sale," the coupon doesn't apply to it. I grabbed the copy of RDR again, to prove that it was 19.99 and it still wouldn't work. Finally, she said to just manually override the price to $10 less, before the extra unlocked amount applied, so the total was $10.xx after tax.

I asked about the 10% off I was supposed to get for being unlocked, the girl got her manager once again and she basically told me one or the other, not both. I tried to explain to her that they are part of the same membership program, but she kept refusing. I almost flipped, but instead told them to forget it and asked for my coupon back and left.

I'll be calling the 800 number tomorrow to complain. I don't care if it was only over $2, it's the principle.

Thanks man. I had used all my coupons that the key ring app loaded except FF so I'm all set for Sunday

yeah i dont know why people are complaining if you arent copying the coupons and really where would anyone flip these? i can flip 1 through amazon i locked in last week at 33.75, but thats bout it. i wish they were flipping for more. here's hoping they keep tiv @ 16, but even then without too much % bonus, not really worth flippn. they have tons of copies tho, game just came out jan31st. im just glad to grab a copy for $15 and not having to get preowned or wait a year. game prices are so crazy cheap with bestbuy coupons and gamefly sales and its just too awesome lately.

I might try to craigslist a sealed copy or two for 35$. Hope i get a buyer or two

You almost "flipped" over $2?...Seriously Dude? Seems like you're over reacting just a tad. I know you said it's about the principle but come on. Like you said, they obviously messed something up when trying to fix the glitch. I would have just bought the game at $10 and moved on.

Guys BBY gets a huge kickback from the game companies on these deals not to mention the money they make on mag sells(and the adveritising in the mag). On top of that retail is about taking market share from companies like GS and Amazon. And everytime they get us to walk in the door they know a good portion of us buy other stuff. I have bought a 55 inch 3d tv and an Ipad from them recently myself. If they cared about a few guys getting muliple copies of some games that have turned into wall paper in the gaming section do you think they would have done the Batman sale twice?

I bought another copy of RAGE today using the $5 dollar coupon from the KeyRing app...so it "can" work. The girl did tell me she cannot do my RZ card via the app because their equipment isnt made for that. She showed me that it doesnt scan but she was more than willing to enter the coupon code. Going to grab another Batman for 10 bucks and FF this weekend. Now if I can get them to PM Bulletstorm for $15 bucks at walmart, I can get it for free! lol

I just noticed that the UPC for the BB Exclusive FFXIII-2 standard edition is different than the non-BB exclusive one. Will this sale apply to both? BB sells both of them.

this. having worked at customer service i can understand being annoyed that you dont get all the savings you should....however when people flip out over a dollar or two the only thing that happens is when you come in the store looking for help. you will get the bare minimum help required to get you the hell out of there and to steal your money and thats even stretching it. people seriously need to not spazz out over 2 dollars.

in fact you calling the big bosses over 2 dollars the kind of customer retail people absolutely despise with a burning passion.

I would also ask the question does the coupon apply to both versions? Hmmmm. (Actually, that's probably been answered already if somebody used it earlier this month, but I didn't see it mentioned).
