Hmm, I couldn't really get into BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, but a CE for $40 on day one? That's tempting...but I'm really not a fan of fighters. Does this game do anything better/different compared to CT?

The game has gone through a lot of funemental changes over the revisions and it's a lot more balanced now.

Plus, the roster is much greater than it was in CT so you'd have a better chance at finding a character you'll have fun playing.

CT was the first game, you missed Continuum Shift then.

And if you didnt like the first game, chances are you wouldnt like this much either. Theres differences in the gameplay (Like they added a new flipping/spinning mechanic that happens after some really hard hits, and a few other things).

This one comes with all the DLC characters from Continuum Shift, plus adds Relius Clover who hasnt been playable yet. Also adds the story from the CS2 games which never got added to consoles yet.

Thanks, in for one, even though I've barely touched CS. I'm confused about the story modes of the 3 console games - does CS's story mode differ completely from CT's, and does CSE's contain the entire story from CT and CS in addition to new stuff?

Well this game has both CT and CS stories and extra stories stuff from the 3ds/psp ver. It has all the dlc from CS.

I already own cs + the dlc characters. Is it worth getting this?

thats kinda hard to say. you'll just get one new character, and some more story and gameplay has improved. i think it's worth it if you played CS a lot.
