Just like to point out to everybody who owns Sanctum that there's a new piece of FREE DLC that hit Steam today. It's called Sanctum: Yogscave. Not sure if this is a limited time freebie, but it'd probably be wise to grab it while you can.

I just recently beat this game and it has a good story with nice third person shooter feel. And you get to play as the Decepticons and Autobots.

Here are two files I used to make the game better (Read the Steam forums and decide for yourself but at minimum use the FPS unlocker):
INI Config File

FPS Unlocker

I finished B:AA three days ago, so I'm tempted as hell to buy B:AC, but the GOTY edition announcement holds me off.

I kind of want that Arkham City DLC, but I'll wait for a better deal.

FYI: that four-pack gift gave me the DLC, too, so if anyone is interested, get in on the four-pack

I think AA GOTY has Securom on it with a 4 install limit.

Wow! Thanks for the heads up. Someone mentioned it might but I wasn't sure and I haven't activated my key yet. I still have one space left, but at 2.17 for the game and DLC it won't last.

Any reason to jump on Bastion if I already own it on the Xbox 360? (Aside from giving Supergiant/EA more money, because Bastion was awesome!).

Also, Warp........requires Origin? But it's on Steam? /confused.

Mostly maps and weapons. You could get by without them for the most part, but they aren't superficial in the way that costumes or color-swap DLC might be. It's dirt cheap.

Thanks for the info. I saw they have a DLC pack for 2.49 so I might just get a four pack and then get the DLC pack. Comes out cheaper than the complete pack and I don't think the soundtrack is anything i'll listen to.

If that's the case why are there posts on the Steam forums talking about how to revoke activations for the GOTY such as this one.

semi-steam/cag related question. i recently tried to buy a steam game off of a fellow cag. the second i tried to send him money (only 2 bucks) paypal locked down both of our accounts (i'm in the process of unlocking it). i know i've never done anything shady on paypal, which makes me think he's done shady stuff with his. has anything like this happened to anyone before? paypal is making me jump through serious hoops to get it unlocked.

Yeah, it similar to GFWL games on Steam. Once you activate it though, you get a copy for Steam and Origin.

Actually you'd be giving WB money, not EA. Bastion is part of midweek madness (only a couple of hours left), not that EA indie bundle.

Man, Eastx... If time is an issue and you're putting off the Witcher 2 for Dungeon Defenders, you should think again.* I know DD has it's fans, but it's not a good game for people in a time crunch. It's a grindy time sink with very little payoff. It is a little more fun with a friend, but there's not a lot to it.

Some buddies and I were on a Sanctum playing craze last fall and we found the DLC towers incredibly useful. The penetrator especially. Place that behind one of those damage amplifier blocks at the end of a long hallway and you're on easy street.

This sounds about right. I sunk a ton of time into it when it came out. It was lots of fun with a group of 4. But once you figured out where to place the towers and how to beat each level, it was just a matter of playing them over and over again to farm items. It got boring really quick.

No, and I've been using paypal for years, including small transactions like yours.

If you learn more about why this happened, please come back and share. Maybe you can help prevent this from happening to someone else.

You want the DLC for Sanctum. It adds a lot to the game, both the objects and the levels.

Also, the game had a significant update this week as I reported yesterday. Full update notes:
Multiplayer

* Lots of connection issues fixed for multiplayer
* Cancel button when connecting through the server-list

Graphics

* Detail Settings

Towers

* Anti-Air - Level 6 missiles re-target if their current target dies

General

* New medal system, you gain cores for completing levels. Cores that you have earned are displayed in your level selection screen.
- 1 core -> Easy
- 2 cores -> Medium
- 3 cores -> Hard
- 4 cores -> Insane
- Achievements are checked to give you appropriate cores
- If you have completed a level, you gain 2 cores
- If you have finished a level on insane, you gain 4 cores

* Limited waves increased
- 10 -> 10
- 15 -> 20
- 20 -> 30

* New Victory/Defeat screens

* Tower Limit in multiplayer increased
- 1 & 2 players: 7 -> 8 towers
- 3 & 4 players: 6 -> 7 towers

* Survival now stores and shows you your best wave in the level list
- Also notifies if you are close to your personal best

* While bringing up the chat, you see the last 5 chat messages that has been sent/received

* Serverbrowser now shows how far a game has progressed

* DPS KING
- Showing who did the most DPS after each wave!

* Changed DLC Presentation In-Game

* Loads of bug fixes

The soundtrack is actually quite good. I put about half the songs on my mp3 player. You don't notice it that much while playing, but the background music does a lot for the feel of the game and the themes kind of sneak their way into your brain over time. I love the piano theme particularly.
