If I had the option I probably would have preordered it however. |

I could never get into Sanctum even though I really wanted to. Everything about the game was just too soulless and sterile.

I want to throw in a recommend on War for Cybertron. While there were some problems that annoyed more serious PC gamers (FPS is locked and some other limited configuration options), most of those have been solved through programs to decrypt the .ini and even without these changes the game looks and feels great even on PC.
The multiplayer I thought had the potential to be the next great arena combat game but really didn't get the nursing it needed from High Moon to come to fruition. Once I went on a 30 second dogfight with another player as we both weaved around massive pillars, shot through underground tunnels as our jets almost clipped the walls, only for both of us to simultaneously transform in midair and begin our combat on the descent until I landed a quick blaster shot to his head. It was one of those moments where you have to stand back, leave the game, and say "There's no way anything else in this match will ever top that. I have to log off now." I'd wager the multiplayer is a bit hard to get a group for at this point, but I also had a pretty good time 2-manning the campaign. Also, yay Arkham City sale below $15. $15 was my maximum after I passed on multiple $20-$25 sales, so this is just about awesome. This will likely last me until Diablo 3. ^_^ |

Are there any good mods for Batman Arkham City? I got the game on PS3, not sure if I want to double dip again for PC unless there's fun stuff for it.

Okay, I'm butthurt. I usually just blindly trust things off steam but I just bought batman:AC and this is nonsense.
The used serial number can be activated 10 times in total on this PC. The used serial number has already been activated 1 times on this PC. wtf is this? I only have a 500 gig HD so I'm always deleting and re-installing games. I feel like I don't even own this game now. Steam needs to stop letting these publishers push this garbage on paying customers. For $15 I'm not too upset but if I paid full price for a game and saw this i'd be up in arms. I guess it's my fault for not reading the steam page or doing my HW but this is why most gamers prefer physical media. Sick of this GFWL, securom, etc DRM politics. I'm not really one to complain about DRM and I love steam but now I see what gets gamers so worked up over this. |

This is why I often relegate to only buying games that used DRM schemes that have a limited number of activations to Amazon since they're extremely helpful with providing new keys if ever needed. From the Amazon games and software download help page.

Not sure if this was mentioned previously but, coincidentally, IGN's free indie game of the month is Dungeon Defenders. So whoever is still subscribing to their Prime service can pick it up for free in your personal Prime Hub.
