(Legitimate UK physical and download retailer) ShopTo have Saints Row The Third (for Steam) for $16 at the moment. Best price I've seen by a fair amount.

Not quite related to Steam (yet!), but I just saw this on Neogaf.

Dark Souls on PC is looking pretty real right about now. Just when I compliment Japanese publishers for these recent PC efforts, the holy grail makes an appearance.

Make sure to buy shares in any company that manufactures monitors.

You'll be punching yours in anger soon enough

I remember Bandai had made some comment to the effect that they would think about it if they got enough interest, which for the Japanese is usually just a polite way to say no, but then Rock Paper Shotgun ran with it and there was a petition and a ton of people signed.

It seems like the Japanese are finally starting to realize that PC games will sell internationally.

When I first got my PS3 and played Demon Souls I felt it was a PC game to begin with. Felt weird playing with a controller. I would definitely pick up Dark Souls if it came to PC.

Telltale games bought from their store do not activate on Steam. Telltale will probably sell it on Steam for a discount on release day.

I will love them even more if they port Ace Combat 6 & Assault Horizon to PC.

I love the PS2 Ace Combat games but unfortunately never got the opportunity to play the "current gen" ones.

I don't believe so. Recent chatter on their JP forum seems to indicate a separate (non-Steam) online activation.

http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/...ad.php?t=28060

Digging a little further it seems that Poker Night at the Inventory is Steamworks but I don't believe the rest of the titles are. If I am wrong then someone please correct me but I definitely won't be running out to buy that pack and hope for it to activate on Steam based on what I am reading.

I would pick up dark souls on PC in a heartbeat.

That is correct. I don't know about Poker Night at the Inventory, but I do know that Telltale's adventure games are not Steamworks, at least not any of the ones released so far. They are provided as direct downloads when bought from Telltale. There are several games on my Telltale account including the most recent one, Jurassic Park, and Hector which was developed by a third party and none of them activate on Steam.

edit: Oh shit. After JP was delayed they gave all pre-order holders a refund and a "we're sorry" coupon for any full season. I just applied it to the almost everything pack and it took off $35. I already own half of those games but the rest for $7.50 is mighty tempting.

If Dark Souls came out for PC I'd gladly sell my PS3 version.

Daily Deal

The Bard's Tale $4.99 50% off
Old 03-21-2012, 01:08 PM   #697
Erm, a coupon just appeared in my inventory. It's a 66% off Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes.

Has anybody else had a coupon appear?

Mine says it's valid from 21st March (today) to 1st April.

Anyone have any thoughts on this Bard's Tale remake/reboot/re-imagining? According to people on the forum it never goes on sale even during the big summer/winter sales.
