Oh, that must be why. I guess the option to invite somebody to a group is removed from the drop down menu if that person has already been invited by somebody else. That's good to know.

I went with QUBE as well. I chose that simply because I already own the other two games.

I already have regrets about buying one game (technically the game's Starter Pack)....Tribes ing Ascend.

If a game studio is going to make a customer create an account so they can actually play the game...make sure that system is ing running properly! My created account is lingering somewhere in limbo. Received account creation verification....but when I try to log in, I get invalid info errors...etc. etc. etc.

Really pissed right now that I'm wasting my time dealing with this garbage.

In my defense, I've never yelled at anyone. I expressed great amazement at all his purchases.

I am more of a cuddly hugger.

Yes you can, you can technically have any folder/file anywhere you want no matter what. Don't use whatever steammover is; if you trust yourself just move whatever steam game folder you want to wherever you want and use Windows' "mklink /j" (makes a folder hard link) command. If you don't feel comfortable with command line, then check out the Link Shell Extenstion (move folder, then right click and drag back into steam directory as if you were making a shortcut then instead select "Drop Here -> Junction).

Apparently the talk of "cuddly hugging" slows the thread down.

Why would you not just use Steammover? It does what you're describing, except it automates it.

So far just the Binding of Isaac DLC and Half-Life Complete for me. I wasn't expecting to buy Complete, but for $10 why not. As for the Binding of Isaac DLC, it really sucks how Steam's DLC integration works. I haven't gotten around to playing the base game yet so I had to gift it to my inventory to prevent it from auto-applying.

Could someone invite to poorleno111 to the CAG Steam group? Thanks in advance!

Hoping to see some Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion on sale today, plus the Stronghold Collection, Morrowind, Star Wars pack and Endless Space.

Any hidden gems in the sale that have popped up recently? Or, games that everyone should try?

Ya, I just looked it up; looks like it makes hard links as well. Personally, I don't trust manager like programs. Besides, Link Shell Extension works for more than just steam (it works for everything) and it also adds new icon overlays to distinguish all types of links.

EDIT: Also, steammover cant work on a file by file basis, only folders.

Then the thread needs lot more hugging. Maybe then I would actually read all the posts I missed since I went to bed. Waking up and seeing 15 pages of new posts? No way.

Got Binding of Issac and Cave Story+ yesterday!!!

Played both and love them. Really good pick up and play feel and Cave Story has an amazing retro feel to it. Easy achievements too

Have all the half life stuff already on my last pc. Played it to death so not much point for me personally but was an awesome deal yesterday from what I seen.

I wonder what today has in store....

Am I the only one spending more than I anticipated? These Flash Deals are like constant temptations.

Good point.

I own Alan Wake on 360 but I never got around to buying American Nightmare. So, I ended up buying both lol. Now I have to play Alan Wake again to justify buying it. I hear it looks a lot better than the 360 version though, and I've been wanting to play it a 2nd time.

Q.U.B.E., Plants vs. Zombies GOTY Edition or Super Meat Boy? What's the general consensus?

I chose PvZ since i'm interested in it.
Old 07-14-2012, 09:29 AM   #10178
QUBE is new & never discounted that far, PvZ and Meat Boy are ancient and have had tons of sales

edit: unless you're asking which is best, in which case I'd say SMB edges out the others. THey're all very good games though.

FEAR3 has been $5 before on GMG and GameFly - maybe many bought it there.
Metro 2033 has been $5 COUNTLESS times on Steam, GMG, Amazon DVG, and other sites - maybe many already bought that elsewhere.

I voted for QUBE only because I own the other 2. SMB is a lot of fun if you have the patience for a super difficult platformer. PVZ is fun too but not as good as SMB in my opinion.
