I have been waiting for the Witcher 2 to drop seeing as I have a decent back catalog as it is. Yet now it has gone up in price somehow... Before it was at $39.99 as the base price and now it is up to $49.99 and with the 15% discount it is $42.49

I saw the retail copy at Target for $20 but would much rather wait and get a Steam copy for that price...

Not sure about elsewhere, but lowest on Steam has been $14.99.
Thanks for the info! $10 seems like a good price for this. I even get an extra 10% off since I've been a Gamefly member for over a year. It's only $1, but I'm not complaining.

Tempting, but after flipping so many $5 copies from Best Buy it is hard to justify spending any more than that.

My son got a kick out of it. Unfortunately, I ran into a problem with the Desura version where it wouldn't save. Apparently, the Steam version used to have that problem before they fixed it.

As said above, it was a better deal in the indie bundle, which included a few other games.

To The Moon is coming to Steam. If you've previously purchased the game you get a free key.

The developer said so on twitter.

Note: as soon as somebody says that, the midweek madness gets added and the poster who said it looks like a fool. But I'm taking one for the team.
I don't think we've gone a week without a "midweek madness" or some week-long sale in its place, since Valve really started pimping the deals angle of Steam.

Maybe the guys at GOG hurt their feelings

I can't remember a week w/o a sale. Something BIG must be approaching.

Trying not to get my hopes up. Kind of just guessing it's a late MWM.

Yeah, the only time that they haven't done a midweek madness was when a big sale was set to start a few days later. It could just be that Steam is being a little tardy with getting a midweek sale posted, or it might be the sign of an approaching Spring Sale.

Yay! One of the few things preventing me from buying it.

Midweek Madness is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning at 33% off ($40.19)

The collection with all 3 DLC packs is $53.59
Weapons & Armor Bundle DLC - $3.34
Legend of Dead Kel DLC - $6.69
Old 04-17-2012, 03:11 PM   #1956
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is the Midweek Madness deal at 33% off ( $59.99 $40.19)

Meh, I can probably get this game for a better deal via steam trading.

Super Monday Night Combat is also in the store now although I suspect most people who cared have gotten it already. Free-to-play.

I'm hesitant to jump in because I know that the people playing now are experienced.

Moreover, there were 3 or 4 super players in the original MNC who routinely shit all over me. The servers were mostly dead so there wasn't a way to avoid them.

Lamest midweek madness ever.
Old 04-17-2012, 03:30 PM   #1960
Yeah the sale the kingdoms of amalur is rather weak, gonna wait for a better deal. Also wish steam would add the new dlc for Crusader Kings II.
