More than likely, the reason you didn't get the Tier 3 is because the 30% benefited you more.

Isn't this the (at least) second report of the two promos stacking? I'm tempted to try it out using Forza 4, Left 4 Dead 2, and NSMB () from BBY's B2G1 and preordering something that qualifies for the 30% boost while also picking up a used game. If they stack, and assuming each game's base value holds, I could be looking at ~$85 for them.

Out of curiosity, what was it you preordered? Was it one of the qualifying E3 titles?

I attempted to get the double stack but failed when I realized the game I pre-ordered didn't qualify (bioshock). Should have checked before I left, bummed since I lost about $24 for that mistake.

I might have switched the values =/ but I think that's right. Anyone who needed to convert best buy credit to gamestop credit, both Fifa and Forza are $25 at best buy and you can use it with b2g1 free.

Perhaps the store had little to no stock of used saint row 3 and henceforth the value was slightly greater there?

Thanks for the heads-up. I guess there's little-to-no chance of the triple stack occurring while this is in place, so I have to decide whether to just trade in the three games from BBY's B2G1 ( Saint's Row the Third, Forza 4, and NSMB) I'll have by then or hold off in the hopes of getting the triple stack...

Hmm...a definite $80 via this promotion (including PUR) vs. a possibly YMMV $85 via the triple stack?

...

Yeah, I'll be trading in during this promotion. I just hope those games' values hold until then.

Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering about that with the rumor mill lately concerning this.

Tried the stacking of Lego Batman 2 with the buying a used game deal and it worked and I was excited about it until I got the car and realized that I was only trading in a base of ~30 bucks, so I was only getting an extra 9 bucks, which meant I was paying 40.99 for Lego batman (which is way more than I'd be willing to pay for Lego Batman).

Learning experience I guess.

It was Deadliest warrior, SSX, and SCV (all for the values posted a bunch in this thread already). I don't have the receipt with me, but I watched the values change for the TIVs when she added a lego batman for xbox, then go up more when she added a used game, then go down when she took lego batman for xbox off, then go back up when she added lego batman for ps3.

I sort of didn't believe it worked, but on the receipt it says has the game, then a bonus of like 4.xx for SSX, then that same amount again, and then the 10% bonus amount.

I thought I should take a picture of it and post it, but I was unable to post until this afternoon and forgot about it.
