I replaced a 20GB Pro system with a 4GB Slim and purchased a 320GB drive from Amazon with Amazon credit. They only gave like $3-5 for the 20GB drive, and they'd only give you $20-$30 for the 250GB drive in trade, if not less.

You could remove the 250GB HDD from its casing and place it into the Slim, as well as buy a Slim-compatible case and swap your drive into it.

Selling the 250GB drive here on CAG would also be an option and probably get you at least half of the way to a 320GB Slim drive. The 320GB Slim drive also comes with a code for a downloadable version of Lego Star Wars III as well, so you get a free game with it

Suffice to say, just about the entire box came in under GS's $2 price-point to even make GS worthwhile, so I only traded @ GS those games $2.00 - $5.00 if they were either:
1) less than $2 diff under BB, or anything above BB
2) or GS offered at least $5.50, then it had to be at or above BB.

With both stores offering 50% bonus on Sunday, I figured I'd rather have BB's credit good towards electronics+games+movies, rather than GS's game-only credit.

my 60 GB ps3 got the YLOD. I can't trade it into gamestop because it won't work....Does Sony allow you to get a refurbished ps3 slim from them if you send them your broken old model?
