That's crazy that L4D2 is still $15 considering it's almost 3 years old.

Fallout New Vegas is $7.99 for both ps3 and xbox 360. You need to pricematch to bestbuy.com if u get the 360 one in store.

Star Wars Force Unleashed II is $7.99 in bestbuy.

Halo 3: ODST is 7.99 on bestbuy.com.

WIth this week buy 2 get 1 free u are look at turning $16 into about $30+ after the promo.

I think I might have been screwed over by a fast talking manager. He said the flyer states that the minimum TIV for the $35 bonus is $5. I don't see this requirement anywhere on their website.

Plus looking at the receipt only 7 of the 20 some games I traded in have the $5 bonus applied. Despite asking if I could get the $35 bonus for each 7 games and being told that the computer would do it automatically.

I wonder if they can or would fix this if I went back tomorrow. It's ink a difference of $20 or so, but it still matters.

Yeah it sounds like your store is a little ed up. I don't see the $5 min anywhere either.

Got a bit screwed today, traded in GTAIV and the total added up correctly. Checked my receipt and the guy gave me a $2 repair bullshit fee. Since I thought GTAIV would get $10 I didn't notice, GTAIV got $12 checking my receipt.

I see diablo 3 is up for 30% promo... Does GameStop really take pc games?

Go to one GameStop and the guy there says the voltage for the charger is too high even though it came with the DS. Drive to another GameStop ~40 seconds away and that guy takes it in no questions asked. Yep.

I feel like your issue seems to be a somewhat common occurrence here on CAG. There are always people not realizing they lost out on money until after they see their receipt.

Doesn't everybody have their trades pop up on the little credit card swiper machines. I watch mine every time and you see both the base and the bump. If they put a refurb on anything that will show up too. I just don't understand how people sign off on the trades without at least saying can I see my trade totals. I always confirm everything on the screen looks right, then they confirm it and the signature screen pops up.

I am not trying to say GS does a good job of these things (clearly your manager should at least know the promo and how it is supposed to work), but at the same time if you sign off for your trades without really thinking about your total or seeing the breakdown I really don't see how you can think they should have to go back and fix it.

From Gamestop.com's Trade-in page regarding the 3/5/7 deal:

Games with a trade value less than $3.00 are excluded from this offer.

So he was full of shit there...

As far as being told it would apply to all, see if they'll adjust and credit it, if not, ask for the DM's information and do that little survey they push on you. Results will happen.
