I actually cancelled my pre-order for the Dark Edition last month; wasn't sure I wanted it...Got my pre-order back!

I'm willing to bet a lot of TRU pre-orders will get cancelled. Not really a reliable source for Collectors and Limited Editions.

With my Amazon credit, this drops to ~$31, but I'm picking up the standard edition from GS on Thursday...Is it bad that if I ordered from Amazon, I would hope it arrives partially damaged so I could get a partial refund?

Glad I haven't jumped on this in the TRU thread. Didn't this same thing happen with ME3 and RE:ORC? All places were sold out, then it suddenly started popping up? This is a good sign that it may not be as 'limited' as those other games were thought to be. I think I'll risk it and hold out til later to get it cheaper. fingers crossed.

Cancelled my TRU preorder, no tax FTW

I need to do my damndest to avoid pulling the trigger on this. I've already got the thing on PC, so I'll have the EE for free tomorrow. I even have a PDF of the artbook. I just...this swag. My brain tells me I need it.

I think it's still going to be pretty limited. These are probably just cancelled pre-orders. I saw an unboxing on YouTube and the box has a serial number on the side; and it has a max of 4 digits, so that might be something to go off. Can't be more than 9,999 copies if that's the case.

...Now what do I do with my GS preorder? Keep it and sell the DE later or keep the DE (sell the artbook later) and switch the preorder to some other game?

I posted in the other thread but that unboxing was for a polish (?) version. It wouldn't surprise me if they had a much much smaller run for their DE.

As much as I love Limited Editions, I really can't justify spending $100 on a game I already own on the pc.
