Also, it should be noted that FOUR (corrected) of the 5 sites designated as official retailers for this item have already sold out of their allotment. That'll quickly become 5 out of 5 in an hour or two when Amazon finally goes OOS.

The NECA site mentions that they'll announce a few more sites next week.

I'm not doubting you'll make a profit but no way you get $500. Not prior to release. I'm willing to bet a large percentage of those that have these on preorder are going to try flipping them. Your $500 will get instantly undercut by someone willing to let it go for a small profit at $200.

Amazon has a max order of 2 per. I accidentally ordered one my first time and placed another order for one. Will the second get canceled?

Also I agree with GBAstar somewhat. I think about a couple weeks before they come out(assuming at this point they are sold out everywhere), they will start going for a lot on ebay as pre-orders. Probably around $500. But once the items start to ship, you will see a bunch of sellers list a quantity of 10+ for $200 a pop, thus killing the whole market for them. Some people will probably even list a bunch for retail price even if they were going for $500 a piece up to that point.

Either way you'll profit, you may have to sell them early, or hang on to them a little while if you want to flip them.

They have a max order of two...and you ordered two. Why would they cancel?

Two per order. I'm not sure they allow more than one order though. If I wanted to right now, it seems like I could keep placing orders.

You guys are creating confusion for no friggin reason. You can't physically order more then two on one account.

I caved and preordered...now to try and build $100 in amazon credit. So if I preordered now they took my gift card money already and will not charge my card till ship right? Anyone know if I can put in a $100 gift card later and just use that.

I am certain that if you preorder now you're CC will not get charged until the order ships.

If you use a promotional credit and cancel at a later point I do not think you get that credit back; at least not without customer service assistance

If you use a gift card and cancel you should get that refunded.

I'm not 100% on the second and third parts but I know they don't charge until it ships. ever.

You can have them add your GC balance to an existing order. I've done it a couple times myself with a pre-order. You have to contact CS through chat though since you can't do it manually.

NECA makes great looking products. The figures they manufacture have lots of articulation and have loads of detail to boot. Take their SFIV figures and TMNT figures for example:
