Shitty Metaphor of the week:
"The Rock is the band-aid for the "cut" that WWE gave us duing the Summer of Punk angle and after watching this year's Wrestlemania, the cut became infected so they give us Brock Lesnar." |

So, Cena had to job to the Rock because honestly, who would buy him as a credible "action star" if he lost a fake match to a wrassler. So, are they going to make Cena job to Lesnar as well? I mean, Lesnar is supposedly bringing "credibility" back to the company. Not to mention, it would kind of look bad for a real fighter like Lesnar to lose to a "wrassler" wouldn't it?

that. Press charges since he's gotta be under probation by now; him drying out for a year or two in jail is his best bet to save his life. This shit is depressing.

kinda curious what move he used to choke her out with....if youre gonna date a wrestler you should try and learn as many counter moves as possible just in case that way she could have broken out of it and maybe given him a hip toss into an armbar. |

Oh man, that bit by Regal is hilarious.
Different era, different person. Shamrock worked for WWE in an era prior to a.) the Internet, b.) MMA being recognized as a legitimate sport, and c.) I doubt Lesnar agreed to be jobbed out to someone like Cena. Lesnar, in general, drew more eyes to the UFC and made them more money than Shamrock did. I actually found it odd how WWE let Michael Cole speak about his UFC career. Ya know, a company that has legit hurt WWE's business. Then again, Dana and Vince are supposedly business buds, and perhaps, in this instance, Vince doesn't feel paranoid and a need to be a control freak. But, you have to wonder how many kids will turn to MMA because of this appearance by Lesnar. Sorta feels like how TNA let WWE use Flair—except WWE is TNA. And if anything, Lesnar should have hit Cena harder. |

Dean Ambrose got a physical this morning from WWE doctors. Here's to hoping he'll be on the main roster soon. |

I can say I wouldn't put Lesnar in an MMA Hall of Fame and that he had a mediocre career. But, Lesnar had a tough route to the UFC heavyweight title. For a former farm boy, who only had good wrestling credentials and didn't train long in all areas, he fought and beat Frank Mir (who has the best jiujitsu at heavyweight and is still a title contender), Randy Couture (who is one of a few people to hold two titles in two different weight classes), and Shane Carwin (top heavyweight with incredible power). Lesnar didn't fight cans or weaker fighters to pad his record. He went to the UFC to fight, and I commend him. For a dude who started life as just a farm boy, his career in wrasslin and MMA has been impressive. If he didn't have to fight diverticulitis, I think it's a safe bet that his MMA career would have been different. He went off for surgery during the height of his career and never returned to form. And there is no shame in losing to Cain Velasquez (title contender), Frank Mir (title contender), and Alistair Overeem (title contender). |

I'm not really an MMA fan but I really loved seeing a guy from the "fake" sport go in and smash people up. I'll always be a professional wrestling fan first because while the good memories may be few and far between nowadays, I can't imagine the thrills of MMA ever topping my favorite wrestling moments of the past.
