Not sure if a pricing error or not, as the DVD is listed at $14.99. I ordered this earlier today and have a confirmation E-mail as well, but it isn't showing up on my order history (I ordered it around 10 AM this morning, should be able to retrieve it.)

Anyway, for the fans of Pinku or revenge films in general, I can't comment on the quality of this one, but these are usually pretty fun and over the top. Not Sex and Fury level, but from what I saw in Woman Zero, still pretty decent.

This is also a Tokyo Shock release, so I'm hoping it's not a quick remaster and release (although, why would they go that route with something as niche as these films?) But, for the price, I'm willing to take my chances and see what I get next week.

EDIT: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...eapassgam08-20

Also available for the same price at Amazon, but currently says shipping in ~10-13 days. Thank you SSJMichael!!!

Looks like it's a "remake" of Female Convict Scorpion. The only thing that matched BB's description was this.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1135983/

I could be wrong, but it's interesting as well.

Yep, definitely a price mistake. Amazon has it up for pre-order for $17.99, and the MSRP is $19.99:

Thanks for digging that up! A little disappointed it's not one of the originals, but I'm definitely still interested in seeing what a remake would be like.

You can also try scheduling a pick up in store using this link.

*Edit* May not work until they are stocked.

Barnes & Noble has had it at this price for over a week now. If you're a member, you can get it even cheaper there with one of the current coupons.

Coupons aren't usually good for pre-orders. Have you found one that actually works with it?

I know, my bad. I found it on my phone and meant to make a post when I got home. It totally slipped my mind and I hadn't even thought of it until I saw this post. I never ordered it myself. Sorry.

That's true. Didn't think of that. I've used coupons on pre-orders in-store, but it's not worth making a trip to the store to save $1.20.

Has anyone here seen this remake?

Here's a trailer for it. The funniest part is how they attempted to name drop Kill Bill in it. "From the genre that inspired Kill Bill"

Looks a little cheap, but hell, I love pretty much anything out of Japan from The Snare to Naked Blood and Killer Pussy, so $6 and some change for a Blu for a modern Pink film? Hopefully it stays at this price so whoever does end up ordering it can give some feedback once it arrives.

Thanks for posting, OP.

I hope Tokyo Shock doesn't delay it like every other release and then it turns out to be a straight SD DVD conversion... At this price, I'll be OK with it.

That literally made me laugh out loud. I was going to blow $5.99 on this movie until I saw that shitty marketing. ing hilarious.

"From the genre that inspired Casablanca" -->

"From the genre that inspired Psycho" -->

The Kanji formed into a scorpion design is pure awesome. The only other time I see that type of stuff is on Death Metal albums.

No idea what this is (old or new version), but I'm in for one.
