I was dedicated and managed to drive 15+ miles to a Gamestop in Atlanta that had two copies left. I came there and told him that I worked at Gamestop (which I did) and that we clearance the copies and they are being converted to used. I did work at Gamestop and my old employees knew about the deal too.

He managed to do a manager override and give it to me for $20. I wanted the other copy he had for my friend (who was w/ me) but he said he can't sell two b/c of the override. No problem. We went to a Gamestop in Stone Mountain and it ranged up for $20 too.

We got it and now I'm going to sell or trade in my standard edition (keeping the box though) for some cash back.

We called about 15 Gamestops before we got to these though. Most of them were dumb asking us if it was for the PS3 and saying "what Uncharted 3 doesn't have a collector's edition". I swear, why did I ever get laid off when these people don't even know what they're doing.

Either way, I and my friend both scored UC3: CE for $20. All in all, a good day.

Man it sucks to know that you got laid for some dunderdolts. Either they were seriously dumb or were just playing dumb so they could get in on it.

Not everybody who works at Gamestop is an actual gamer. Some only know what they're told in training(i.e. shill the PUR card and pre-orders). It's like the soccer moms n shit who come into game stores asking employees for a Super Mario game on the 360. They know all about what their kids are into and could care less as long as it keeps their bratty asses quiet so mommy can watch her soaps or whatever.

He said he overrid it but I don't believe him. On my recite it reads that it came up as a used standard edition UC3 like it was suppose to. I think he was just hoarding it for himself but either way, he sold me one and we got another one for the same price.

Gamestop is pretty universal as far as their pricing goes. Its not like you will go to one store and a used game is 14.99, and you go to another store and the same game is 12.99. If he was able to scan the bar code then it would ring up as 18.99 and the dude just lied to you.

Went to gamestop for their labor day sale, and ended up picking up mass effect 3 CE for 18.99. The clerk was unaware that it had been converted to used, so its probably a recent drop.

How much is wwe12 running for pre owned.

xbox 360, forgot to mention that.

You might also wanna check the version of ME3 CE, as that's unavailable online as well. So maybe they converted both versions of the CE.

ME3 CE is down to $49.99 at BB right now as well. Not to mention that there's that @Gamer coupon that is supposedly going to even work on the CE of it starting this Sunday. So as of Sunday, you could've bought it for $29.99 after the coupon from the @Gamer magazine.

all 3 editions are sold out at best buy in store by me since there is only one best buy in my area.All gamestops except one had this and I dont have those best buy coupons so I wouldnt have gotten it either way from best buy. I work at target and I know we have one sitting in the backroom for xbox and thats the last ME3 CE in my area.Thats why I bought it.

or did anyone think that maybe it was a traded in copy of ME 3 CE?? Some people do trade in complete stuff sometimes and clerk could have just assumed it was a mark down

Ah ok. Although the @Gamer mag is only $5 to get an extra $20 off the CE IF they had it in stock. I know the closest store here had one the other day when I was in.
