I'm torn, because one of the quarterbacks is:

0-3 in the playoffs when the temperature is under 40 degrees.
1-3 after a 1st round bye.
4-7 in his 1st game of the playoffs.

They don't have a better chance of winning, they DO win. Even Brady has lost games recently without turning the ball over. The only game they truly got beat was the Houston game. Every other game the Ravens made one stupid play that swung the tide away from them. Not to mention they are far healthier than the Denver game, have their best OL configuration, and have 3 of their top tacklers back that didn't play before. And they actually held Manning in check during that game.

Even the Sports Guy is picking the Ravens, as they fufill about 75% of his gambling criteria, though I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing considering Simmons's track record.

It's amazing how different the Hall of Fame situations are for the NFL and MLB right now. The NFL is backlogged with great players waiting to get it while the MLB can't pull the trigger on letting any of their great players in because of conspiracy crap spoiling the whole bunch for their voters.

Your stat also came with a caveat of ignoring the fact that they lost the most recent game where he didn't turn it over, so they can lose those games.

If Modell gets in, he will be the Ron Santos of his class: Should have gone in years ago and won't be able to enjoy his enshrinement. A damn shame.

The caveat was because Flacco only played 2 series before being rested. Safe to say Tyrod Taylor isn't likely to get any snaps in this game. If Flacco, played most of the game it would have counted, but you know as well as I do that Week 17 resting only really matters if you're facing the same team the next week.

Unless that Flacco stat is lacking context, I only see 12 straight wins for the Ravens when he's not turned it over, as he lost to the Patriots 13 games ago 23-20 despite 2 TDs, 0 INTs, and no fumbles. Maybe that factoid doesn't count fumbles or Yahoo's gamelogs are wrong somewhere?

What I would like to see happen:

BAL 13 - DEN 30 (Let's get Ray Lewis's career over with already)

SEA 17 - ATL 24 (Don't really care about either team but would like to see Tony G win a playoff game and have a chance at a Superbowl before his career is over)
