With the old IGN discount, if they couldn't give you the 15% off, they made up for it in BC.

That ending was ing powerful. If it's just "another job before retirement" with a bunch of wild antics in between, my interest kinda dies.

K&L isn't amazing series as far as gameplay goes, refined or not. It's the story that grabbed me.
For what it's worth, K&L2's story does work. Lynch's life gets really rained on over the course of the game and while he doesn't break down as violently as Kane did (YOU SHOULD. HAVE LET. ME TALK TO THEM!) there is some pathos to the story.

I thought K&L1's ending was almost necessary but at the same time a bit of a huge dick move. I think it was told in a way that just wasn't optimal.

K&L2's ending IS just awful though. Minor spoilers as to what it is without telling you what happened: It just cuts to the credits after the last mission with no ending cutscene. K&L have finished their story, really at the mission before it so it isn't like we lost a climax we needed but it feels like someone decided they needed another level because the game was too short but nobody wrote an ending cutscene after that level. Second tier spoiler just to discuss it directly without spoiling the plot before: K&L assault an airport to get a plane to get out of town. It makes no sense why this would be their chosen method of escape except that it allows you to shoot things rather than just sneak across the border or steal a boat or something. They run across the airfield, get on a plane, shooting cops all the way, and credits roll. It makes no sense that that plane would ever take off or get them out of town which is probably why we didn't get a cutscene from it.

Well, I will have to give it a chance one of these days. Who knows how far down the backlog it is though...

Above or below the My Little Pony themed Battlechess tribute?

The 20% doesnt work on Bioshock infinite anymore.

But i found out if you remove the 2nd freegame that you supposed to get from the BS:I (eg. Civ V) and then add in another normal purchase (eg: K&L2), the 20% will come back in and discount your entire cart, including BS:I.

In short, you could get BS:I + K&L2 (+free bioshock 1) for 50.95 + 20.98 refund in bluecoins.

Or I could wait three months (and maybe get around to playing at least Bioshock 1) and pick it up for $10.

Interesting workaround though

That depends on if...
2K stays price-cutting/slashing aggressive;
Bioshock: Infinite keeps pumping out DLC to help drop base-game's price (possible, since there is a Season Pass for 3 DLC's);
how well or poorly Bioshock: Infinite's sales go;
if there's any major games coming out that'll get in the way of Bs:I's sales and shine;
and how well or poorly Bs:I is reviewed.

Well looks like Tomb Raider Standard Edition is now cheapest at GG if you use the UK site. Cost is $32.41 (if you have 20% Beth/BL2 discount) with $1.87 back in blue coins bringing price to $30.54.

While that's not cheap enough for me...

....the real question is if that TR 2013 UK key is WW or Regional-based?

This is like the 3rd time over the past couple of months that they've put Space Marine on sale.
Did space marine ever go on sale this weekend? I didn't catch it. I was going to get it if it was dirt cheap, like $4 or less.

lol, no. I guess they just screwed up with the email.

If you're looking to pick up a copy, I have an extra that I'd be willing to sell you for $3. You'd have your choice between a key, or a gift copy from my steam inventory. PM me if you're interested.

Surprised there was no talk of the Deus Ex: HR Ultimate Bundle for $7.50:

http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-DEHRUE...edition-bundle

With the discount it's not bad for DE:HR and all the DLC.

There was, but it was in the steam thread. Yeah, that's a nice deal.

Not bad, but considerably worse than the Squeenix Amazon pack for $10 with all that... and another 5 games or so.

I guess not many people got in on that though.

The Squeenix Amazon pack was dicey at best and all indications are we're not going to see that again, so as a reference point it's pretty poor.

Yeah, I tend to avoid referencing the OMG once in a lifetime sales since they are not likely to come back and even if they did it'd never be a deal everyone could get.

"That's a good price for Dishonored, but it was $2.85 cents at GG a year ago!!!"

GG has (steam keys) Legacy of Kain Collection (Defiance, Soul Reaver 1&2) for $4.50 (75% off). These have been on GOG for a while, but only got on steam three months ago. AFIK, they've never been cheaper.
