That's crazy - Oblivion's great.
I spent over 120+ hours EASILY w/ that game + all of its DLC's and expansions...

Supply and demand just dosen't = what people want on CAG. This is a minority market. There's an entire world out there with people who would see 10$ for brand new FONVUE as a great deal. If they didn't, they would never have boughten it for slightly more than that on steam when it's on sale.
Then go sell it somewhere else. Problem solved.

Saying it's worth so little just because it's not such a new game and someone got it cheap and is trying to sell it for a decent price is like complaining that a retailer is selling a game for 20$ new but they only paid 5$ wholesale for each copy.

Blah blah blah... the keys are worth what someone is willing to pay for them. There's also the opportunity/sanity cost of milling about a dozen forums trying to squeeze an extra $5 out of a sale.

I got the Bethesda bundle, but I got it as a gift bundle. I gifted it to myself, but under my games it only shows the bundle, but no games listed underneath. Anyone else run into this? I know the keys arent available yet but I'd feel better about waiting for them if I could actually see the games that I'm waiting for listed...

Anyway, I think the one GG sells doesn't have the horsey armor.

For New Vegas though some of the DLC is really good, particularly Old World Blues so I would go for it.

Not like you spent a lot on that pack anyway.
Son of a bitch, you're kidding? I bought Oblivion GOTY Deluxe during the Summer sale, but it's still sitting in my inventory. When I bought the Bethesda pack the other day, I thought it was the Deluxe version. So I figured that I'd use the key from the pack because if I'm gonna sell an extra copy, an inventory copy is more valuable than a key.

Now I'm stuck with the regular GOTY? I would have sold the key instead if I knew. I want my damn horsey armor! I paid that extra $1.25 for it. :(

Who cares if I basically got Dishonored for free after selling off some extras form the pack. I want my damn Horsey armor!

From what I've seen, you could easily double your money, give or take a few dollars. Tripling? Maybe if you were very lucky or went outside of regular Steam-trading holes.

Same here. FO:NV was the easiest to sell (at $5), while Morrowind and Oblivion were the last to sell (I was offering them for $3.25/$3.5 in the end IIRC.)
Brink at $2.5 was an easy sale, and I kept Hunted and that other game that I always forget the name of (that everyone says sucks.)

GamersGate advertised it as the GOTY Deluxe edition, and my (Steam-bought) Deluxe edition only shows GOTY under DLC.

That damned horse armor was the butt of so many jokes for so long. That got so much flak for that even Bethesda eventually admitted it was silly.

If it makes you feel any better, there are some modder made ones that look just as good or better than the Bethesda horse armor. Some people recreated it while others made improved versions.

Also DLC Quest has horse armor and you might already have that from the Indie Royale St Patrick's Day bundle.

Ugh, now I have to sit here and figure out of I want to redeem that damned thing for the horsey armor too! 'Thanks' for that. See what this place does to me?

Except in this case there's a hundred other mom and pop shops already selling it for around five. And even the big box retailers frequently discount it to 7.50-10 dollars.

The people willing to buy it for 40 percent off in a Steam sale are likely not the same target audience you'll find on a trading website that allows deals in keys. The only way you're likely to come into contact with someone that A.) wants a key, B.) willing to pay you paypal, is through means that will likely expose them to the other people trying to unload the game for cheaper.

If I buy Harley Quinn's Revenge will it apply to my game on Steam?

If you're jumping into FONV, grab these mods. The first really updates the game and adds a lot to the game without changing it (adds visor view for certain helmets, adds a sprint function, etc), and the second completely fills out Bethesda's afterthought of a weapon modding system.

Project Nevada (This is also fully mix and match along with preferences that you can change yourself, so if you don't want everything the mod offers, you can choose.)
Weapon Mods Expanded (This adds three mods to EVERY weapon in the game, including unique weapons that usually don't allow you to mod them. Not game breaking at all, either.)

It's also worth using these graphics mods if you have a powerful system. The texture pack is absolutely incredible; I haven't seem a more complete and high quality texture replacer in a game in my life. The ENB mod really destroys any graphical age the game has, too. It's pretty heavy on your system though (especially with depth of field enabled), so you may have to play with it to get a good FPS.

NMC's Texture Pack (7+ GB, just a warning)
Trillville's ENB (I use this one, and it has some funny effects in certain lighting, but looks outstanding otherwise.)
Xilandro's ENB (I haven't tried this one, but it looks AMAZING. You might have to figure out another mod, Project Reality, to make it work though.)

Um.

I bought a game there just now and Steam told me I got a duplicate product key. I tried contacting support but the site just went down. Help? D:

So you're telling me there's still hope?

I'm gonna install that sucker and check. How will I know if I got Deluxe? Is there anything in the first 5-10 minutes of the game that would tip me off that it's the Deluxe version?

LOL, That's too much. "No refunds". lol I love it.

Yeah I think I bought that indie Royale. So that will be some small comfort to me. :(

I think there's an orc with Lynda Carter's voice (no really!) in a Stable outside the capitol city that sells horsey armor.

Actually, I think you should probably have .esp files for it in the launcher. Also it's probably listed in the Steam DLC tab I would imagine.

FYI, I got the deluxe version a long time ago, and it says it's the GOTY version. So it probably doesn't make a difference what the DLC tab says.

I sold my Bethesda bundle for $29. I was a fool, A FOOLISH FOOL! I COULD'VE HAD A CAG OVER A BARREL AND SQUEALING LIKE A PIG AND I DIDN'T!

Also apparently the trick to determining if your Oblivion on Steam is the deluxe or not (Without installing and looking for horse armor manually) is if you have the "Oblivion game of the year" DLC. Since Oblivion was always sold as GotY on Steam, this additional DLC listing is what you get from the deluxe edition. Supposedly. So I heard tell.

I know most of you Steam veterans didn't spend much this sale, but I've already spent more this sale than summer+autumn sales combined. Though RGP Maker was about 40% of it.
