In for BF3 used if it goes on sale before the end of the month. I'm hoping $30 or less before coupon.

Got my magazine on Saturday (red cover), stopped by this morning and picked up NCAA 12 for $5 (used $15 RZ certs).

Was hoping to pick up a used copy of NCAA 11, but none in store. Coulda picked it up from their webpage for $20 but I feel extra dirty paying that price used for a year's old game. I hope to find it elsewhere cheaper...

You mean you picked it up for $20 and the new one comes out in 2 months. Uhhh nice one?

Same here. I can't complain too much because there have been a lot of good deals the past two months. Too bad I couldn't find resistance 3 last month.

Not if you have the RZ mastercard. Every purchase, anywhere counts towards the $2500 a year. Just put gas on it and you'll get that. With twins coming, I have about hit my $2500 for this year already with the help of baby stuff.

I have never paid interest on a credit card( well i think, maybe, a few cents once) and so they end up paying me to use it.

I bought this month issue today from a closing store for 1.49. Used the coupon in there for Wireless Headset and it came out free. So the coupons work at closing stores even if the amount is lower than the amount on the coupon.

except you have to go back to best buy numerous times to have it price adjusted and you still have to drop 60 day 1.
I'd rather wait while I play other games and drop 20 or less out of pocket later down the line.

Exactly. This is also why I almost never did the Kmart deals. It was MSRP outta pocket to get coupons for a discount on another game or gaming item, which kept you having to buy stuff there perpetually to keep feeling like you were getting a 'deal'. Worst of all, you only had the option to pay with cash there, since their game trade program never got off the ground.

But the bottom line deal is this I'll get the same deal as you get by waiting on day 1 + $20 credit & the ability to get another $45-$50 cash on craiglist or $30+ trade in credit. The extra trip is well worth it since it makes that purchase & your next purchase super cheap day 1.

You get a $20-$30 & have to wait for the next one to reach the same price where as I have the $20 pre-order credit along with the $20-$40 cash back from price matching which makes the 2nd game less than the $20 you'll pay on it & I still get another $20 credit & $20-$40 cash back again. If you keep "floating" money/credit this way you'll save on games & amass a huge backlog w/o going broke in the process. But to each their own I just prefer to get the most outta my $ on the front, middle & backend.

The kmart deals are nothing like price matching since the better deal is price matching.
You'll spend $60 to get a $20 coupon to make the next $60 game $40 so 2 game for $100.

I'll get the same $60 but pm it down to $40 or less & still have the $20 credit, then take the pm money along with the credit & make the 2nd $60 $30 or less day 1 & still be able to get some of the $30 that I spent back in another pm. So the end result could easily be 2 games for $60 instead of 2 for $100. $40 is alot since you can get most new releases for $40 w/i a month of release so that $100 means 3 games where as kmart deals is just 2.
And that doesn't even take into account the RZ points, GC points & RZ silver bonus points which are quite alot for me with the total # of games I get.

Well your Kmart argument makes sense if you are only buying two games, but when Kmart Gamer was really going strong literally every new release I was interested in came with at least $15 in credit (usually more). So I would pay $60 for one game in like September, but then never have to pay full price for a new release through Christmas (plus I'd never have to go back for a price match, which is not even guaranteed to happen). There were some obvious downsides, like having to be in a Kmart and deal with the people that work/shop there.

BB has stepped up its game tremendously these last several months, though, and Kmart Gamer is gone. So price matching and having an unlocked membership seems to be the best choice for a CAG.

The reason I never got on the Kmart "train" was they didn't have a trade in program (and told Josh that several times). A few times when they had really good deals I did it (like the $15 credit for buying a $5 "preorder" with FO:New Vegas), or if it was a game I knew I was going to buy day one.

But yeah, no trade in program killed any change of them ever getting my business more than a few times a year.

It only works on games that are $39.99 and below.

Got my welcome pack but the name inside is different from my name, guess there was a mistake.
