Lots of regions don't even use dollars as a form of currency. The sale is 75% off the regular price; that's it.

im really enjoying magic 2013. Its a bit different than the other two, but mostly its the same. Its seems like with every new game, the green deck becomes way too overpowered.

I picked up Magic 2012 from the last sale and have barely touched it. I totally loved the first game but the sequel seemed really tough, I don't think I got past the second A.I. opponent before giving in.

Can you create your own custom deck in 2013? And is the A.I. still brutal?

Honestly Im not too sure about the custom deck. I just play straight through with the green on my first playthrough since its so beast. As for AI I play the game on Mage ( Easy) and If I dont get a good hand to start off the match I keep restarting until I do. Magic the gathering is not a hard card game by any means. Once you get the hang of it, your set. Plus all three games have very easy 100% GS status (Gonna have to buy some of the dlc for the older titles though). I would give Magic 2013 an 8.7 out of 10.

Cool, thanks. I'm not a Magic expert by any stretch, I loved and finished the original game on the standard difficulty but 2012 left me in a fetal position for whatever reason. Maybe I'll kick it down to Easy and see if things improve before purchasing 2013.

yeah def. try that in 2012. I love the green deck and the blue and green deck (Kiora's deck i believe) Just keep playing and unlocking cards. Honestly if you just started 2012 or your not into it as much, 2013 should go on sale in a few months and then it will be a steal at 400. Me I can't wait for that long so I jump on day 1.

Also saw that this wasn't posted anywhere in the OP, so if someone could add this that would be great.

Thank you for adding that note to the bottom. I'm the one who posted the deal, but don't really play those games so had no idea how the compatibility worked.

Xbox 360

I bought Conan and Virtua Tennis 09. I really enjoyed VT3 and 09 plays just about the same so I am feeling real good about that purchase. I played Conan for about 90 minutes and so far I have enjoyed that as well. I got both games for free with all my Bing points so I microsoft for this sale. I have 430 more points and I might pick up PoP, Blazing Angels or Surfs Up.

I would also like to say that I hope that anyone who hasn't purchased GRAW before shouyld really pick it up. I bought that game for 59.99 way back in the day and it is a personal favorite of mine. I would really like to play it online to since it is quite a blast. Hopefully with it being 400 points the online community will come back for a week lol.

On a sidenote as someone who loves achievements I will be interested to know what this new Xbox Live Rewards offer is haha.

I also picked up Conan. Haven't started it yet (currently playing AC: Brotherhood), but I played the demo for a bit and it seems like it should be fun. Definitely worth $4 at least, especially since I got my points from Bing Rewards as well. Wanted to get PoP as well, but I only have 400 more points and I want to save that for TWD: Episode 2, whenever that decides to come out...

I forgot to mention that I am a huge Sonic fan and already own all the games they have put on sale and I think that although Sonic 4 episode 1 is a little different than the masterpiece that is Sonic 2 I think that at 400 points it is a very good deal. I enjoyed it and the final boss fight is interesting and a bit of a challenge.

Sonic CD is a downright steal at 200 points and was a steal at it's release price of 400.

Sonic Adventure is still a pretty good game although I wish they would have made it a straight up port of the dreamcast game since it is missing the VMU games that were an innovation I thought was awesome back in the day.

I would advise people to hold off for a lower price point on Sonic Adventure 2 since it is a Sega game and Sega tends to offer great deals on their games every 4 months or so. I expect it to possibly be lowered to 600 the first time it goes on sale. I remember buying Sonic 2 and Sonic and Knuckles for 80 points each I believe. . .or maybe 160? I can't recall.

Also. . . .VOOT is an extraordinary game that I think people overlook as far as XLA games. The American online community is quite small and I really wish it would grow. I have played. . .and lost hundreds of matches online but everytime it was loads of fun.

A friend of Mine bought a japanese copy of VO:OF but none of us can read japanese and we have no clue if you can even find the settings to change it to english. It was still great to battle each other and get easy achievements but it is a much different game than VOOT.

.
Also for anyone that loves achievements you can take note that cheats do not disable the ability to gain achievements. However I think that roughly a 3rd or a 4th of the achievements are online.

That's why my site does one page reviews (though I'm honestly debating 2 page max) and Destructiod only does one page reviews, they're not as annoying.

Clicking and loading is annoying.

Reading is a long article is better then having to click 3 times and wait for everything to load.

I couldn't get into GRAW. Tried a couple times. Trying to maneuver my crew around and find my way on the map just wasn't working. I bought the 360 at the release of black ops so I'm probably spoiled by the fast pace of that game.

As for Magic 2012...I played it last night. Really like that game. Anyone having trouble, find a guide online to pair up the best mismatched decks until you can unlock the more powerful cards. I was thrilled that the DLC went on sale and I am now enjoying playing as the archenemy.

I'm going to pass on sonic cd because I bought the other sonics (1,2,3,4 and adventure+DLC during that big sale where they were super cheap) and regret it to this day since I own the disc version of them. Just not much of a platforming fan. The demo of sonic cd made me wish I could trade all my other sonic games for that one and just call it good)

Picked up POP. Got Tornado outbreak for the kids. 5 year old said it's boring. 2 year old seems entertained enough to not feel left out of the gaming. Considering Alone in the Dark, Surf's up (but demo seems good enough for kids), bolt...basically all the kid games. Would grab Conan but the game's ridiculous amount of violence and nudity just beg for someone to walk down at night and ask questions.

so bionic commando is NOT on sale?

It was listed on Nelsons twitter last week...

Conan is a good game especially for that price. A few frustrating parts, but overall not bad at all.

I must have been totally blind but I didn't notice a trial for the Avengers Chronicles tables. It didn't matter much to me because I was already set on buying it but I just found it odd. Shipwreck's review was actually spot on. I am really enjoying the new tables so far. The achievements don't seem to difficult (one 50 point achievement per table). The Fear Itself table is actually growing on me.
