I bought this at Launch...played that evening, never touched it again and traded it in to Amazon soon after. Thats the last time I bought a game before reading reviews. It was a good game until I played it haha!

Fortunately for me I couldn't afford it when it came out so I dodged that bullet. Several games I was really anticipating turned out to be really bad. So, I've gone to the wait and see model for most games. Borderlands 2 and Dishonored are my 2 exceptions. I just hope Dishonored doesn't burn me like Brink did you.

I'm really looking forward to Borderlands 2 and Dishonored as well, I have no doubt the Borderlands 2 will be amazing, probably GOTY, Dishonored looks amazing as well, but Bethesda has already fooled me once. If I had the spare cash right now I would preorder both at BB. :-\

I was going to pick Brink up day 1 but reading reviews first really paid off. I ended up getting it from goozex instead. 1000/1000 it then traded it back in.

That's exactly what I did. I'm going to keep a close watch for reviews on Dishonored so I can cancel my pre-order if I need to. (However, if it's bad maybe I'll take my Giftcard, trade it back in, and wait for the fast price drop to profit off the whole deal with a price match)

Agreed. If you can't find another game to spend that $5 on, then use the $5 bill as toilet paper. You're better off doing that than attempting to play Brink.

I hold the same feelings about the game you guys. I even regret giving one of my friends the Brink Gamer coupon last which he ended up buying. He said the PC version required him to look for fixes just to start the game and he said barely anyone was online playing the game.

they should just give Brink, DNF, Hunted:TDF, Metroid other M, Sin & Punishment 2 & Deadliest Warrior for free with purchase of an upgraded GCU or GCU silver. Once they clear stock just keep a steady rotation of games coming. Even though the games all aren't the best you can better believe "free" will move subs LOL.

Best $5 I tried to spend. I think the Gods were on my side this morning. BB just cancelled my online order and sent me a $5 coupon. Win/Win, I think...

Damnit. The coupon and cancellation was for my preowned copy of darksiders that I forgot about. Lose/lose...

Expire ? I haven't received any of mine yet as they were all preorders, and they are still promoting the 10$ on the website so I would find it hard to believe the codes expire on a specific date.

The codes don't expire today. The offer does however end today. So if you can't pick-up your items today you won't get the credit. I believe the credits expire in 30 days from today but I can't remember I already spent mine.

EDIT: Looked it up (something the other guy could have done...) it expires 30 days from the end of month your pick-up was in. So, August pick up coupons will expire at the end of sept.

LOL - you spelled the game's name wrong twice.

I can't bring myself to buy it, even at $5. DNF has ruined me from buying a bad game just because it's "cheap" forever.

That would be funny. I actually want to play Hunted, and Sin & Punishment 2 is actually really good. Hard and sometimes cheap, but good.
