I think it would be great if you could receive a notification when someone quotes you in a thread. It's hard to ask a question in one of the hot/gigantic threads and keep tabs on it. If I don't get back to the thread for a few days and it has grown to 10 pages, I have to read through the whole thing to see if someone answered my question. Or if someone has a question for me it's a similar situation. I may give an opinion on a game or whatever, and then I kind of have to keep track of that thread I posted in. Otherwise if people ask me questions I won't know that they did so.

Yeah that from Slick Deals and the chat like on Facebook would be nifty.

I asked about this a few months ago and Cheapy said it was a feature that would be implemented in the new version of the forums.
